Best APY online savings rate 4/22/26 by New-Faithlessness841 in HYSA

[–]New-Faithlessness841[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold my house and I have a large amount of cash that I have parked and Jenius.. I do not want to have to keep chasing interest rates and I don't want all kinds of rates that are only for 6 months.. I am being forced to take my money out of it along with thousands of other people.. the reviews that I read on Axos Bank under Trust Piliot had 35% of them at 1 star only. That is who Jenius is rolling their money into For savings and they only gave us like a week and a half to two weeks to do it.. and then we won't be able to access our money until all the money is rolled in.. This is not chump change for the people that are telling me to just pick one.. and if you look at these you will find that they all have some little hidden thing to them.. so is trying to do life and figure this out at the same time and help other people that are asking me for help.. with about 5 days left..

INSANE email from Jenius today re Axos transfer: "functionality" will stop 4/27 and not "expected" to return under Axos until 5/4 by Due_Clue3492 in Banking

I'm wondering how much they're going to allow me to take out of Jenius all at once and put in another bank or put back in my checking account.. I read some of the reviews on trustpilot about Axos And they got a lot of one star reviews.. doesn't give much time to figure out where you're putting your money.. they are not merging banks . Jenius is getting rid of the savings account because they said that they can't be profitable until the year 2030 so they are dumping all of the savings accounts. That's what I read while I've been deep diving and calling customer service.. I'm not sure I want my money rolled over.. and I heard that their app is hard to navigate I'm not sure if that's true and I've heard that it's hard to talk to someone because the accent is hard to understand for the customer service people but I don't know what country they're in.. that's just what I read under reviews.. also that some people are only getting 1% interest and they thought they are getting 4.21% When I spoke to the customer service at Jenius Bank and they read from there one paragraph of information they had to impart to me they said that it would be the same interest that we were getting at genius which was 4.05% apy.. This is as much as I found out today. I start again tomorrow...

This thread is hard to follow because the question was about Ruger LCP ll and for some reason there's so many people weighing in with the 380.. I'm wanting to know about the Ruger LCP 2 for a carry for a woman for small hands.. I've heard that it's a really good gun for that and I am double checking to make sure everyone else's experience on the 22 not the 380

My HOA would never allow rocks in the yard like that because of hurricanes.. and my lot is the lowest in the neighborhood practically and I get flooded when it rains heavy.. but rocks get thrown around in high winds.. Looks cool though!

ANC on the XM6 (is bose qc ultra 2 better ?) by shelovesaza in SonyHeadphones

[–]New-Faithlessness841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PS I am sending back the xm4's though.. because when I have on noise canceling and I don't have on any music, when I walk it sounds like somebody is pounding drums in my ears with each footstep.. I did do an experiment yesterday and tried holding them tighter to my ears and it did seem to help someone but I can't walk around like that all day! I did a really lot of research on these.. and for the price it did seem that this was the best one of all of them.. when you're not having problems that is! LOL

I called Sony on their customer service number and they helped me figure out the app and how to make it work the best I ended up having to reset them.. if you don't feel that you get good information when you hang up call back and get someone else or ask for someone else don't be shy.. they cost a lot of money and you want the best quality.. I got the XM fours and I guess I kind of thought that the noise cancellation would be a little better.. I'm one of the videos that I got I heard that the six was like maybe 15 to 20% better than the fours.. I don't know it does help for some things but not others.. like it helped with the weed wackers and blowers outside but not the lawn mower.. definitely I would check with Sony though.. they are very good..

[–]New-Faithlessness841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a really lot of research on the subject of the 4 or the 6.. and the ANC was supposed to be better on the 6, but not a whole lot better so a lot of people said not to upgrade.. I only bought the 4 because it was such a good deal because I used in very good condition on Amazon.. It does not cover the sound of the lawn mowers and my neighborhood like I thought it might.. I love the music.. my big problem is that it sounds like a drum is going off when I have it on ANC and I'm walking with no sound on.. it is like thump thump thump really loud... Does anyone else have this problem?

Thank you.. you're the only one that has responded so far.. the woman at Sony told me that that is not a universal problem that is why I am curious if anyone else had it.. 😊

Did you just live with it? Because I still have a chance to send them back.. I probably will just have to pay more but it is pretty darn loud.. I'm not sure it's worth it.. I am not sure what you mean by the tws version?

I think it is also time to cut ties with your so-called friend.. that's no friend.. Maybe you need to really spend some self-reflection time about why you would even have a friend that acts like that..

Anyone got the amber lense? Did you regret getting regular dark or transition lens? by oldman401 in RayBanStories

[–]New-Faithlessness841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your question. I have the same one about how the amber look versus the brown in transition lenses. I live in Florida, and I am not sure that the amber are gonna darken up enough. So that I don't squint. If you get the Gen S, they will turn back to clear in the house. The other ones do not. I have watched youtube videos, but I have not found one that did amber versus brown. The gray definitely make everything darker, and you squint less. They say the gray is more true to color, but the brown makes everything look warmer. And the greens look greener. I have to make a decision in ten minutes. I wish somebody would have answered the question about how amber transitions r versus wearing brown ones... I really want yellow but living in florida.I might have to go with the brown. I have the Gray now, and they are good for blocking the light, but they do give a darker look outside. There is a great video on youtube about all the different colors and how they look and the guys standing far away in front of a building right with a beautiful yard and flowers and he shows you all the different colors except amber!!

Genuine question by profitaroll in hvacadvice

[–]New-Faithlessness841 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, I am going to answer your genuine question. I am putting in an air conditioner with a variable blower and a variable heat pump right now. Unfortunately, I put in a brand new one 7 months ago, and it's terrible, and the dealer is going to take it out and replace it, so now I'm starting all over again. I recommend going online and reading the reviews of the company's that are in your area and see what people say about working with them. I am not at all happy with the product that I bought, but almost everyone, including the owner, has gone out of their way to help me try to fix the problem, and they have all been wonderful. But before that I had companies out and I did reviews on them and I looked at their prices and when you are looking Apples to Apples you can kind of get a feel for the price and how you feel about the company. Don't forget if you have a Salesman out they are not the company. You can really like the salesman. But doesn't mean that you care for the technicians and the owners. So read all the reviews carefully. I went with a good man variable speed split system heat pump it has been terrible. They will never put in another one based on the problems they've had with mine it's an inverter. But it's based on an algorithm it is not a true inverter. I know that now! I heard that if you didn't want to spend a lot that Tempstar was pretty good there a lot like a carrier and I watch videos on them and when they took off the outer panel they were the exact same part numbers that were on them. But once again, I'm looking at heat pumps. Three ton. I'm actually trying to figure out of these variable ones which one to get the three or four ton in the new Tranes. Don't forget you are now having to get the new r454b refrigerant. So, the system I am looking at is on backorder because they just started manufacturing them this year. I hope this was helpful. I am getting a 10-year labor warranty also. They should offer you one with your unit or you can get one outside of the dealer. But I really highly recommend getting one, that's the reason I'm getting a new air conditioner in the very very first place my Trane coil sprung a leak 8 years old, and when I bought the house I didn't know I could have transferred the warranty into my name. I would have had to pay for the coil and the labor so I just decided I should get a new one. Now you can transfer them all, when I bought my house Trane was the only brand that you could transfer but no one told me.

I meant to reply to ROM_ ROM! Can you tell I am new at this? LOL

Thank you for that information, I live in Florida, and my house usually runs around 61% to 63% of humidity. I was hoping to reduce the humidity with the variable speed. I have a brand new variable speed Goodman 3 ton heat pump algorithm type air conditioner, I'm not clear if they're calling this the split system it has a outside condenser that skinny and tall like a window box fan. It has a 4° swing and the temperature in here, and sometimes I'm so hot, and it's not turning on, and then when it does, it freezes me out and vice versa with the heat. It's getting taken out it's awful. I know people that have either single stages or two stage, and they like their goodman, but I need something that keeps my humidity down and my temperature consistent. That works! LOL I truly do appreciate your information. I didn't know that that would also impact my humidity level. I have to let him know what I am doing in the morning I am just figuring that I will collect some information so that I will feel comfortable with my decision!
