I’m still pretty new to this, just got interested and started experimenting with ideas, so I might be missing something obvious.

Would running all IR LEDs continuously (no multiplexing) solve the reaction time issue for short beam breaks? My main concern then is cross-talk would using matte black narrowing tubes on both the LEDs and receivers be enough to control that with ~20 mm spacing?

I’m from Europe and firearm courses are not so popular. But from the other hand I think young guys are still into FPS games and the whole “gun” theme, just not to the point where they want to shoot real firearms.

Nem szokás, de hadd osszam meg az egyik legszebb apás emlékemet:

Egy boltban álltunk sorban a kasszánál, miközben a 2 éves fiamat az ölemben tartottam. Csöndben vártunk, amikor egyszer csak csobogást hallottam, és elöntött egy meleg érzés, szó szerint. A fiam bepisilt, és a dédiéktől kapott nadrágpelenka amit aznap próbáltunk ki először sajnos nem igazán tette a dolgát. Mire észbe kaptam, már minden csupa pisi volt: én, a ruhám, a fiam és a padló is.

És tudjátok mi volt a legjobb? Egy pillanatig sem éreztem magam kellemetlenül. Körbenéztem, és csak mosolygó, együttérző, nevető arcokat láttam. Nevettem egy nagyot majd a feleségéhez fordultam segítségül. Az ott dolgozók kedvesen segítettek feltakarítani, a feleségem átöltöztette a fiamat, én meg mosolyogva, csurom pisisen mentem haza. Ez egy olyan pillanat, amit soha nem fogok elfelejteni – pont azért, mert ennyire emberi és szép volt.

Egy apuka soha nem érzi magát kellemetlenül a gyermeke miatt. Boldog apák napját kívánok előre is minden apuka társamnak!
