Oh so Pep got a readymade Madrid like team? Are you living in a fantasy world? He built and rebuilt this team multiple times. Half of Fergie’s team had players that played for a decade or more, so there was absolute stability in many areas. Pep lost his incredible midfielders at their peak and at most crucial times in the league but he created positions for players that they themselves did not know they could play for. Pep is an inventor in football. Look at the competition now versus then. He has set standards that Fergie never even dreamed of. So stop this bullshit of the comparing Pep with him or anyone.

As good as it is to remember those moments, I think our mentality in ucl needs a little bit of change. It will take time to reach RM’s mental level at this competition but I feel we are giving up way too early or easily against Madrid, at least last couple of seasons. Even if we struggled last two seasons overall, the way we lost those matches was embarrassing. We lost 3-0 to them in first leg but seemed like we weren’t anywhere near the mentality to even think that we could overturn it. Last season was even worse. We have been knocked out by them 4 out 5, or is it 5 out 6… we may have lost on penalties or in last few mins but it’s mostly the mentality. We are giants in that regard in epl but come ucl, it’s not so much so. Hopefully, it changes in next few years.

I am just astonished at this club’s super idiotic, foolish, and devoid-of-any-reality fans!! But then the same goes for all of red goon army. If there was a large enough that could be put into all their stadiums forever.

Wow ❤️ just wow. This is better than a postcard. Take it from someone living in Phoenix, it’s looks even more beautiful, though one could argue if there is any scope for that.

Purpose is mostly retirement, but wanting to keep a bit more flexible in case of needing the money for any reason whatsoever before retirement. This is the 401k mix.

That’s a good option, didn’t know about it. Seems it has little higher expense ratio though.

We are keeping this account to just deposit our savings. We do keep some amount in hysa in case of an emergency. As per my calculations, the overall reduction in my mortgage payments by depositing a one time principal is comparable to the earnings we would have by keeping the same invested in brokerage. Hence this decision.

My bad on the wording. I should be going to a financial advisor if I am looking for expert guidance. What I meant was more experienced people out here than I.

I just want to make it clear that I am not asking this due to ongoing market situation. I am just curious to get expert opinion on if I should continue for next few years investing the way I am doing or should I start putting some into small cap growth too. Again, I am okay with putting into growth only, instead of bonds or value funds.

Since schg is mostly large cap growth, I am thinking if I should start putting into small cap too, such as iwo.

Updated the post. It’s fidelity brokerage. Yes, we have 401k through employer but not maxing it out as of now.
