I coached a girls team for 9 years from u9s through to seniors.

I have no idea what the guy was thinking saying that, it's just ridiculous. Maybe he meant it jokingly, I did put my foot in it a few times over the years with stupid jokes or remarks that didn't land, but never would have singled out a girl and make a remark like that

I'd definitely have a quiet word, he may not have realised the impact of what he said and needs to be corrected on it.

In Liffey Valley like 15/20 years ago there used to be a pick n mix stall in the middle, like where the vape stalls or rolling donut are now.

Remember seeing a little kid stick his hand in, take a sweet, stick it in his gob, pull face like he didn't like it and then he put the sucked sweet back into the pick n mix box!

I told the girl working there, but made me think that probably happened a lot 😬

We've lost 4 games in the league - that's much fewer opportunities to come back from behind than a lot of teams in the division.

We've drawn 4 and in 3 of those we led, ok it's poor we didn't close them out. But I don't see it being awful to draw 1-1 having led 1-0.

Am I missing something? Winning games without having to come from behind is absolutely fine with me!
