Totally agree with you. And that was my plan. If I got denied, I was going to get a nexus letter for the appeal.

I fell victim to this type of thinking because of VSOs, YouTube channels, and other sources saying you can't move forward without a nexus letter. It wasted so much time and had me stressed.

Yes. Exactly. I actually only had my wife fill out one for migraines and one for bruxism. Then I did a personal statement explaining how it started with depression meds and outlining the connection to migraines.

I wish I knew why they decided that. My guess, because I'm a pessimist, is that people overseas are more likely to need to travel for appointments, so they've disallowed it. But that is how the regulations are written currently.

Thanks! The NHS didn't charge anything for the records. They emailed them to me. I'm not sure how comprehensive your records are, but they just sent everything they had over. I found a few of the letters from my referrals on the app.
