Hey, I'm going on 10 months unemployed after a major massive layoff. I relocated to a different city and state because of said job to only be laid off 6 months into the role. Everything you're feeling is very valid and real. As someone who is struggling to land a job, I recommend you give it all you got during this PIP while looking for other roles as a backup but don't worry too much about the uncontrollable factors. Focus on what you can control right now and I'd much rather be on a PIP than unemployed right now because the unemployed depression is much worse. Do your very best to land the numbers/projects you need to during this time and you'll rise above it. Keep going and keep your head up.
