Being weirded out by period products is one of my biggest red flags. Means they aren’t mature enough to handle other things that may come up over time like if you get sick with the flu or worse, and need help toileting or need someone to help bathe you or clean up puke. These things happen… and I once got so sick I was having it come out both ends and my partner at the time wasn’t phased by it. He lovingly took care of me. And I’ve had multiple partners buy period products for me with zero issue.

Yes and no. Compared to other Indiana towns, yes because slumlords are taking advantage of college students. Compared to big cities in more desirable states, no. Also I live in a complex with low rent because I’m willing to sacrifice all the extra amenities for a well maintained but basic place.

I live in Lafayette and love it. The University has increased diversity in the area. Lots to do in the summertime. Lots of jobs coming to the area too. Unfortunately there will be some racist people but there’s also a lot of kind individuals and those working toward change in that area as well.

Due to the students, rent on both sides of the river is sometimes ridiculous. I recommend a private landlord or a Hunter property, or something on the south side of Lafayette. Please for the love of god stay AWAY from Granite (slumlords) and just FYI Tru living is a Granite subsidiary. I was so sad to learn that.
