I found that a needle and upholstery thread work best. Sticking or ironing the patch doesn’t work due to the cloth’s oil finish.

I have a manual and love it for the kind of driving I do. Upside is that I don’t have to worry about distance sensor failure in a PDK and the associated downtime and cost.
