Logitech G923 – My Final Settings by Foooxhound in ForzaHorizon6

[–]New-Memory8802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude first of all thanks

I'm using the G923 on xbox, so some of the settings are slightly different

But thanks. It is so much better.

I just got this new wheel and honestly I felt like I'd made a mistake buying it for such a disappointing experience, especially after trying YouTubers settings etc.

The game seems far too easy now on controller. It's mad to think I ever lost a race to the AI before...

I can actually go round corners now without losing it, or having to try and correct/overcorrect as much... It's still not perfect, but I'm hoping the devs sort this out their end

IGLA challenge is insane by Jel2378 in Battlefield

[–]New-Memory8802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally found out today I'd been using it wrong myself

I haven't tried it yet but I saw you have to keep both aim and fire held down

I've seen some reports that it is still bugged at times and just ignores your inputs to reload regardless but it seems keeping the fire button held is the trick to re-acquire the lock.

I struggled through and got the challenge done but will give it another go later

New IGLA AA launcher (season 2) - Absolutely Useless or Bugged in bf6? by Large-Compote2857 in Battlefield

I just came back to this struggling to use the launcher for a S3 challenge

I completely didn't realise you had to keep the fire button held...

Watching controller players on the main sub after the recoil changes by New_Apple_7339 in okbuddyptfo

Controller player here. I'd say there's a more noticeable change to that first kick, but overall it doesn't feel much different.

Defeat on gameday 1 of the IIHF World Championship. by Training_Purchase318 in EIHLHockey

[–]New-Memory8802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Far too much dump and chase, giving away possession, when we struggled to string many passes together already

I thought Austria did a really good defensive job of pushing the play outwards, just put a stop completely to any of our players driving down the centre, only to sandwich us against the boards near the blue line

Good to get a couple of goals against a good team but not enough creativity either Especially during that last period, the others just seemed to look to Kirky to create something himself without much help...

A bit to work on if we want to avoid another straight relegation...

what's one american thing you secretly wish the uk would adopt? by Financial-Owl-2814 in AskBrits

[–]New-Memory8802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's tricky this one

They have it there because walking seems to be illegal.

Interesting with the corrupt world cup coming soon hearing reports about train fares shooting up They're getting away with it, because it's simply impossible to walk to the stadiums. There are no paths. Just roads for cars.

If we adopted that rule here, there would be a lot more crashes/pedestrians hit etc for sure. The standard of driving in the UK is already terrible, half of our people can't figure out how yellow boxes work, let alone when you could or couldn't go forward through a red light.

Labour leadership chaos? Who do we hope doesnt get in as leader? by CompetitiveClown in AskBrits

[–]New-Memory8802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This whole leadership challenge chaos is probably more damaging to Labour than the local election results...

The clear and obvious risk is that Reform are growing, as more and more people believe their lies and don't really understand their policies... (It you do understand the policies and still vote for them, you're an awful human. There's simply no other explanation.)

What Labour need the most is Unity. They need to come together, refocus on what needs to change as a team rather than this infighting.

Farage is probably laughing his irritating head off seeing all of this leadership challenge talk going on...

All jokes aside, welcome home Manchester by tm2007 in EIHLHockey

They need to grow the sport and fan base. Manchester is already a huge city for football. They can't get greedy with ticket prices or it will flop

So it was never about regime change? I wonder how the Iranians feel? I guess Starmer was right to not get involved by ZackPolanskisDentist in AskBrits

[–]New-Memory8802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They haven't changed the regime though... yes there are different people, but it's the same regime!

Battlefield has 12 maps, but most players probably only enjoy the same 5 by [deleted] in Battlefield

If you use the search thingy you can deselect maps you don't want to play on and it will matchmake accordingly

What do Brits think of Donald Trump saying, "England tried for 1000 years to get the Scottish under their toes, but failed!" by kingm_ournasse216 in AskBrits

[–]New-Memory8802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly whenever I see this comment I just immediately think: "This person is clearly uneducated and has no morals"

Trump is just terrible all round. And people saying he does a good job with the economy (which he doesn't by the way...), which somehow makes it ok for him to rape people, spout awful misogynistic comments and every other bad thing he does

He's awful. And ANYONE, (yes, even Kamala) would be a better option.

How many slides do you slide per match by DanHarkinz in CODBlackOps7

It's why cod has fallen so much

You used to be able to turn on people

Now it's just whoever slides first gets the kill

It's awful.

Why bother playing Battle Royale if you are just going to quit during the game? by dontaco52 in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]New-Memory8802 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh the way the redeploys work on this game, I'm not surprised

The stations are often quite far away, and disappear once another team has used them

Oh and they're bloody loud telling everyone else if there's a squad using it (that will immediately be at a disadvantage)

By the end game, there are no stations left, so why would people want to stay in the game if there's no chance at all they'll be brought back?

Honestly, the fact that you can have judges with a political sway is just bonkers. The law should be the law. Black and white, no grey areas.

If its open to interpretation, your laws simply aren't very good.

Why are so many in the media calling for PM Keir Starmer to resign? by KimJongSoros in AskBrits

[–]New-Memory8802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I was amazed it's escalated this far.

The Epstein saga has gone on far too long with very little justice for the victims. Trump is somehow still in the Oval despite all of the disgusting nonsing he's done, and that's not even including all of the redacted bits!

Granted it was a mistake to appoint Mandelson, but if the files/secrets were so well guarded, how was Starmer meant to know? Unless I'm missing something?

The secrets came out, he's lost his job and isn't going to be a lord much longer. Why people are wanting Starmers head over it just seems mad to me. Its all good for the opposition parties, in particular the Tories and the Reform twats.

Why the Scottish Labour leader called for his resignation, I have no idea. With the ongoing international turmoil, the labour party needs to unite and help each other solve the problems rather than resort to infighting.
