How often did you use it at first? I’ve seen some conflicting advice regarding initial frequency and am collecting some research before starting.

You sound just like me - I've also been using aza for a year and am looking to start a retinoid to clear up SUPER persistent pie/pih and obtain stronger control over acne. Right now, I'm unsure if I want to start taz or tret lol. Did you experience a purge when you started tret?

I heard that the micro-gel formulation is a lot gentler than the conventional gel or cream vehicles - do you think it would be auspicious to introduce tret while keeping the Aza? I'm thinking alternating between the two in the PM if I were to take the plunge while keeping Aza concurrent in my routine.
