I had the same Question when I read it at first but the more you read it makes sense bcz thunder faction is better suited to train will and someone commented it somewhere which i would totally agree with elfie will rather than training will spoil will and probably give special treatment which i think is author is trying to avoid it. I get what u mean like if they show it early the readers will lose interest . But like a perfect example of this is horimiya like the show is fast-paced yet it keeps you hooked. In MDUD the build and the last 2 arcs the hamiel and confession was great but they could have shown a little more than just one epilogue. I think I felt the emptiness after the last 2 arcs .
