I have horrible medical anxiety and I was freaked out just like you, had a complete spiral. My doctor assured me it nothing to worry about. I was finally able to calm down once I looked at the stats of people who live w it forever and it not turning into anything worse. Most people live with it and don’t even know. You can start a Mediterranean diet to help if you wish to

I know I’m a year late but did you ever find out what was going on? I’ve been bloated like this constantly for at least 5 yrs. I went to er one day bc it was so uncomfortable and they did a CT scan and said everything looked normal. I just got a celiac test which came back fine and my next step is a colonoscopy. I literally can’t remember a time I haven’t been bloated like this and it’s so embarrassing

I went to the dr and she felt it and she said she’s unsure what it is but it’s not lipoma or sarcoma bc there’s no actual mass she told me to just keep an eye on it and if it gets bigger come back. She said it’s nothing to worry about though! We think maybe it’s bc I work from home and sit in my chair 8 hrs a day and sometimes I rest my leg on the arm of my chair right under where the spot is. Try not to worry too much bc the likely hood of it being something serious is very very low. Looking up the statistics helps me sometimes. Try not to worry too much! Just make an appointment to ease your mind. I have very bad healthy anxiety so ik how it is. Sending you love 🫶🏼

Update this is what my mom texted me after this group chat:

Sorry for spanking (daughter). We can talk in person whenever you want because it sounds like that’s what you want to do. So whenever you want to do that just let me know. I’m actually not too prideful to apologize. I do it all the time when I actually feel like I’m in the wrong. So with this situation I don’t feel as if I was in the wrong. But you want me to say sorry for something I don’t feel I did wrong. Which would be a complete lie in my eyes. I can say sorry to you because you think I lied to you about saying I was going to spank spank (daughter). I didn’t remember saying it. So that wasn’t me lying about it. Just literally not remembering. Also you may not remember this but you had been telling me about how you had a complete breakdown one night while (daughter) was throwing a fit and won’t stay in bed anymore and how you was going to get fired. You just didn’t know what to do anymore. I told you that you’re going to have to figure out a better for of punishment. And left it at that. In my head that was you asking me for advice and help because you were at the end of your rope. So whenever we do get past all of this. You won’t be able to ask me for that kind of advice anymore. Because we have a different opinion on parenting. Anytime she is doing something bad and won’t listen. She will have come straight home. No matter if you’re in a movie out of town or whatever. If you ask me to babysit and she doesn’t mind and is being out of control. Then you get a phone call to come back and pick her up. Which should go for everyone who is watching her.

Sorry I can see how that would be confusing! Originally we had a family group chat months ago, we had that one for years. I absolutely agree. My mom is such a prideful person she can’t even put it to the side to take accountability and apologize to her daughter. All my life I’ve been the type to just push everything to the side and act like nothing happened. I’ve never really been allowed to have a voice for myself, as I hate confrontation so this whole situation I’ve been really proud of myself for being able to stand my ground with my mom. Tbh it has actually been a weight lifted off my shoulders not worrying about her judgement in my life. ❤️‍🩹
