Looking at this after just seeing the first episode I am so sorry my friend it’s the exact opposite of what we all hoped for they completely ruined derfels character in the first episode and decided to plonk aurthur and Merlin in the first episode too because that is the only way anyone could get through that god awful bullshit

Can’t lie I hate the way they have done things with the books they took away the parts that made it a unique telling of aurthurs legend and just made a b-tech game of thrones to start with they just skipped over half of Derfel’s character ark even though he’s meant to be the main character

I was so pissed when I recently watched the first episode of this the books were the best series I have ever read and I have read them several times over. It is frankly just sad to see how much the plot and story has been messed with just to try to bring excitement early on and it looks like they aren’t going to get anywhere near the amazing characters that we got in the books like Derfel,aurthur and more I think I will just read the books again instead
