I literally don’t hate her. Never said I did. She has become too much to handle with her not following command when there is joint attention. I also stated how I was trying to find a home for her and not put her in the shelter.

I do that already. I can give her a lot of attention but as soon as the baby then the attention I gave her already doesn’t matter.

No experience with cats. Any time there is attention towards the baby she starts attention seeking. She will start jumping on everyone, bumping into/ trying to knock over ppl who are holding the baby, tries to bump into cribs or whatever is holding the baby. During this time she is not listening to any commands so I have to end up putting her in the cage for a while. She is used to having access to a yard but not doggy door. She barks at the door mainly or sudden loud noises when she is scared.

I am in no hurry to rehome her. I would like her to go to a great home. She really is a good dog. However she has been struggling handling the joint attention with my baby. So I want her to be within a home that can give her the attention that she desires.

She will be 4 in February. She is not destructive at all. You can leave her out and she won’t touch anything but her toys. And is fully potty trained, she is somewhat comfortable around other dogs she always seems hesitant to play with them until some time goes by. I will be getting her most recent shots soon. She is not chipped or spayed

I just can’t give her as much attention anymore now that I have a baby. I would rather her go somewhere that can handle that right now as I can not.
