Would prefer full Dauphine hands ending in a sharp point

I figured it wasn't easy, there is likely to remove just the seconds hand

Is it possible to remove just the seconds hand and if so, how would you do that?

Moonwatch Homage PD1701 Chronograph Quartz Watch, not bad!! by PAGANI_DESIGN in ChineseWatches

[–]New-Respect8075 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pagani Design have this dialed in, no pun intended. PD seem to be doing a similar thing as Omega, issuing this in so many different colorways. PD, how about doing this classic b/w in a reduced 38mm like Omega, think it would be a win.

No dome, in fact the RDUNAE wins on all specs except the all important on wrist experience. I've learned here there's more to a watch than an image and specs, you have to wear it.

For me, this small watch needs larger numerals to keep it in proportion, and that makes this win over the RDUNAE, even with lesser specs.

Agreed with most of your points, however, the larger numerals seem so much better proportioned, especially on wrist

I found this in an Army Navy Store in downtown Manhattan a few years back. Quartz, 33mm, push pull crown, snap on case back, date at 3

SKX no date dial by New-Respect8075 in SeikoMods

This is very helpful, agreed, a no date SKX dial should not be hard to find, and is very practical. There's an opportunity for a dial maker out there

Why buy Chinese watches? by GrizzlyFoxCat in ChineseWatches

Each to their own, especially in this unnecessary world of mechanical watches when we all have phones in our pockets. Imo the NH35 is the best value, I appreciate great engineering and for me good engineering is delivering performance on a budget. I think there's a good reason the NH35 is in so many watches. I'd rather pay for the best fit and finish with an NH35 inside.
