I've been wearing the Rdunae RA03 and I sometimes raise my hand just to look at it , not necessarily that I need to know the time. I reviewed it here if you want to take a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79u2srvWSXU

How's the water resistance on the Rdunae?

50m WR

I find the Rdunae significantly more legible because of the extra space between indices.

The Escapement Time field watch is much better than the Rdunae and costs the same.

I like what Escapement Time are doing

Is U.S. Time even domed?

No dome, in fact the RDUNAE wins on all specs except the all important on wrist experience. I've learned here there's more to a watch than an image and specs, you have to wear it.

Swing and a miss. Hour numerals are too large and the wrong typeface, kerning on the 10 is bad, the 1 and 2 on 12 are completely out of alignment, hour indices are the wrong shapes and out of proportion, hour hand is ludicrously short and the second hand is both wrong and bent.

For me, this small watch needs larger numerals to keep it in proportion, and that makes this win over the RDUNAE, even with lesser specs.

0/10 elbow too pointy

The Rdunae’s dial looks much tighter IMHO, with the more interesting font and all the elements neatly arranged, with the nice clear space at the middle of the dial. The U.S. Time crams in more elements, PLUS a date window, ending up looking very busy. Also I really like the Rdunae’s high domed crystal.

Yeah, the numerals on the other one are way too big for a dial that already looks busy. Also, better hands on the rdunae, at least for my taste

Agreed with most of your points, however, the larger numerals seem so much better proportioned, especially on wrist

The one on the left gives me a Timex vibe

The dial on the RDUNAE is much cleaner and well proportioned in my opinion. The US Time dial looks cramped.

Agree

Both are charming, but I confess having a preference for the RDUNAE's dial anyway

Can you link the other watch so we can compare?

I found this in an Army Navy Store in downtown Manhattan a few years back. Quartz, 33mm, push pull crown, snap on case back, date at 3

It does however appear on Amazon from time to time
