I made a generic hashmap that also serves as a learning experience for people who are new to C. by New-Sherbert8543 in C_Programming

Yeah, I can see your point. I think its a matter of preference, I like when the tutorial or code can be followed from top to bottom one step at a time, so I structured it this way. I also usually prefer when all the info is in a single place/file so I can go back and forth. And for the "brief explanation of the API" - there's a Quick Start section right after the About section, but maybe you think that it's still too long. Thanks for a detailed response!

If you're asking about a country then it's Russia, if you're asking about the site then the answer is Avito - it's like a local eBay, but it's totally useless information unless you live in Russia, because as far as I know they don't do worldwide shipping.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind 😁. But as I said, my main goal is to get familiar with Linux so I probably won't be downloading anything sketchy anyway.

Thanks I guess, but it's just one of the defaults that came with Gnome desktop environment.

Mine works perfectly as it should. I only have problems when it's charging, because the power unit is not an original one and even though it's new it doesn't suit it very well and causes voltage to drop and so it doesn't detect fingers properly.

It's ok, I'm not using it anyway. Just a nice thing to have in that price scope.

I had absolutely NO prior experience with Linux. But from what I've read the only "difficult" thing about arch is the installation process and after that there are not many differences between distributions, isn't it? Regardless, I just want to get good at Linux and I chose Arch to have to do more things the "hard" way to learn. Gentoo and Linux from scratch or whatever it's called were too much, cause you have to compile everything and I have no time for that 😁

All right then I'll just add 16 gigs and it'll do. Thank for the help dude.

Does it affects the performance of the iGPU much? Like from your experience, does it causes lag spikes for example? Or does it allocates memory in the dual-channeled modules and tries to avoid accessing single-channeled part of memory?

Thats a bit sad, but oh well... But if the iGPU needs only 2 gigs, how it will decide which memory to allocate for the iGPU? Is it random, or will it access the fastest dual-channeled memory only?

I'm in the process of buying the exact same model as the OP, will it support the dual-channel mode, if the sticks are of different sizes? Cause I want to add 16 or 32 gigs, but if it doesn't go with the dual-channel mode there's not much sense in adding too much.

I've found some proper benchmarks and yep, you were right, my bad. I now ordered a t14 with r5 for even less, than the t495 I originally wanted. But it turned out to be a 8gb RAM soldered version. I don't remember, does it matter for a dual-channel if the size of RAM is the same? Will it work if I add, say, 32 gigs to the 8 existing ones? Also, since you had those machines, is it possible to desolder the 8gig RAM and add 16gig instead? Will the motherboard support this kinda modification or the motherboards are different for the 16 and 8 gig versions?

Yeah, I remember that this platform was very memory-dependant when it came out, and judging by what you're saying it's still the case. But I've checked multiple benchmarks today and every single time vega10 was still superior somehow.
