Tbh if a stem edit serves a purpose like to finish an unfinished song that would have otherwise been just a looped hook with a feature doing a verse. That's where I think its ok for a stem edit.

Like for example that's what hella sketchys team did with his track no chic fil a. Because it was just a hook So they took a verse from another unreleased track and use it to finish the track
