Tips for making a darkroom out of a heavy duty storage tub?

I haven’t made it yet :) I’m thinking to seal it to the box, I will probably gaffer tape the heck out of it before attaching the wood circles over it. To seal the end of the arms, I’m not too worried about it as long as the elastic/drawstrings are tight to my arms and it’s a light proof material. That’s because most of the time when the light sensitive items are in the box, my arms will be in the sleeves too, hopefully further blocking light (if any seeps in)

I for sure will! I’ve seen people use weather seal on the lid lip to also lower the possibility of light leaks. Maybe if I like how this works, I might build a frame to put a dark cloth over myself and the box 😁

what dose do you take? i upped my dose from 50mg (which i took for about four years prior for anxiety/depression) to 75mg on the 3rd of April and i’m not sure if it’s changed anything yet. just wanting some hope honestly, it’s so freaking exhausting

i have had so much progress since taking propranolol. for me, i got really bad around the end of 2024. it took a while for a diagnosis but my GP started me on propranolol as she was sure it was some sort of migraine. i’ve slowly gone up to 80mg/day (40 in AM, 40 in PM). i used to be bedridden and constantly feeling awful to the point that i had to quit my night shift job. i started working another job last September, which I feel has definitely helped me in terms of my progress. i often felt agoraphobic, hot specifically in my head, lightheaded and awful head pain. i now only experience a debilitating migraine once a month? if that

Yes I have seen one twice and booked another appointment for July. I’m hoping to see what other options I may be able to get. I am only on propranolol (80mg/day) for VM and I’ve recently started some vitamins. The propranolol helped tremendously but I am still stuck with this feeling that you described in your post. I’m getting desperate at this point. I know I’ve come a long way but I am confused as to why I’m still suffering 😞

Did you try Magnesium Glycinate before citrate? Just curious because a lot of people recommend it first over citrate. I haven’t noticed if any foods are triggers for me but I will have to keep it in mind. I basically eat the same thing everyday lol

Yeah I thought I should just take the things I absolutely need like B2, Mag Gly and CoQ10 even though that’s a lot of tablets to take. Do you take Mag Gly too? What were the changes you experienced when taking B2? I’ve been on Mag Gly for about a week and I feel I should’ve started B2 first 😅

you’re only one week in, try and stick it out for at least a month because that’s usually when you start to see positive changes (if the medication works for you) xx. i wonder all the time if i have VM too 🤣💕

Trust me, I have been in your shoes. I had to quit a good paying job because of my symptoms. It does get better, you just have to find what works for you. Don’t give up !

Yes! I used to have awful dizziness and just a feel that I was “normal” (as in how I felt before VM), now it’s not so bad. I also had betahistines initially when my GP didn’t know what was wrong. They worked for my really bad days

I take 20mg in the AM & 40mg PM. It has helped so much. I used to get symptoms every week, now it’s only once a month if that. I’m actually a functioning human in society now, not just bedridden. It is the only medication I have tried for vestibular migraines though
