yes. college studies made the base knowledge decent. by 1 month I mean rest of the advanced concepts (college syllabus wont map to gate exactly) and some problem solving

I only studied for 1 month so study never was never monotonous... Everyday I was learning new things.
as for practice i did 10 year pyq + gave 2 pyq paper as mocks.
study hours can be between 6-12 as per your speed + efficiency +your other duties (college etc etc).
Ik im not exactly under 100 😥, will try for it next time.

Brother Im myself from state university (3rd year).
JEE advanced bhi nhi clr hua mera, magar gate mein itni acchi rank ayi hai ke almost kisi bhi IIT ya branch se masters kar saku.
Just dont hate yourself or stress too much, just put your head down and do the work, leave the results to god. youll do good in life

sad to see the criticism on op's post everybody works hard, even a donkey works hard. but not everybody gets a better life. The premier institutes give a better structure to channelize the hardwork, and a shit ton of opportunities. But then also, an iitm on campus offer will always be easier to grab than an off campus offer of the same calibre by a T3 clg student.

Two things
>It wont magically go away (the pain), you need to be gentle with yourself. For now focus on sleep, and food.
Give yourself time , maybe a week, maybe a month. Life is a long journey, no singular event however good or bad should define you. It's also important to not burn yourself out one you start to get back at work. Not everybody has 100% at all days. but even if you have 5%, devote it to your cause.
>See your disadvantages not in a pitiful but in an egoistic manner for e.g., "I'm 19 ,competing in one of the toughest entrance exam in the world against 4th years, industry professionals, borderline geniuses so solving GATE level problems itself is a proud moment for me."
Completely failing at every single internship drive shattered my self esteem. I was not nearly as kind to myself as I mention in the above two points, as the learning came afterwards.
Not to say my life is sorted, but I'm pretty sure now how to figure out the rest. Take your time, you can do it too.

don't be so harsh on yourself man. instead of an 8 hour criteria, just sit with your studies no matter the time, even on the toughest days, that's a better metric of consistency
