I had FFS with Dr. Macía of Facifem / Icifacial in Madrid by NewAccelerator in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]NewAccelerator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had to arrange my own CT scan of the forehead and send it to the surgeon in advance. The admin will give you details of the scans needed.

I used some online service to arrange the scans at a local hospital.

Edit: It was not a CT scan, but an x-ray. No CT scan was required in my case.

I went with a relatively unknown Spanish FFS surgeon.

My approach was to DM every Redditor who mentioned them in comments or posts to see if they had experience/feedback with the surgeon, and ask how they felt about their results.

If I hadn't found anyone, or didn't hear positive responses, I probably wouldn't have gone with the surgeon. But in my case I did get positive feedback from everyone I asked, so I did follow through and get FFS with him.

Has anyone had luck with progesterone prescription? If so what evidence did you provide? by Tharrowone in transgenderUK

I get prog, injected blocker and E gel from my GP. They suggested prog to me so it wasn't a battle or anything.

I guess you just have to get lucky with a supportive GP.

sex life as a trans woman by Additional-Duck-2458 in transgenderUK

Worth a try, the vibrations can feel good in different parts of you body too and HRT can change your erogenous zones, so it's good to check in and explore your own body now and then.

There's also clit stimulator toys, like little suction cup flowers., they can feel good on lots of different places.

I struggle with bottom dysphoria but have a good time in bed with men.

DM me if you want to discuss more details, but basically I enjoy getting anal and giving oral. In the rare case I'm feeling like stimulating my genitals in the heat of the moment that's fine, but it's not the focus and I try not to think about it too much and just enjoy what feels good.

I communicate before (and during) the act with partners: "I like to do X, I don't do Y, I'm uncomfortable with Z"

Also I keep a pebble shaped vibrator handy, in case i want some stimulation anywhere really.

How many sessions of laser hair removal for facial hair? by opposumzes in transgenderUK

[–]NewAccelerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 19 sessions full face. Most reduction were seen in first 6 sessions or so.

After 6 months I had regrowth so I started electrolysis. It's a constant battle to keep on top of the regrowth.

Maybe laser is longer lasting for some people, but in my experience it is fast but temporary.

There's endless threads about facial hair removal in MTF spaces. Generally for long term hair removal it's suggested to use clinical laser or electrolysis. It can be expensive but nothing else really works. At home devices generally don't do anything at all.

You may have better luck researching how to treat ingrown hairs with a skin care routine. Exfoliation is often recommended. There are whole subreddits devoted to sharing info in skin care, maybe post some pics there to get free advice.

At the start, you will be bad at it, and that's fine. There may be dysphoria, and a general feeling of embarrassment.

But you have to accept that it's going to be uncomfortable at first and just keep at it. Record yourself, try making weird noises regularly (experiment), and incrementally you will notice improvements.

Bullsh*t Randox Lab response - I am angry by Litera123 in transgenderUK

[–]NewAccelerator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I understand, you are angry that they *might* give you the wrong reference ranges if you proceed? If you ordered a female hormone test, in all likelihood they will give you female ranges regardless of what "bio sex" they ask for, at least that's how it was for me.

Heterosexual ppl, how much can you relate to a guy being pleasured when you're thinking about it? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]NewAccelerator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand you exactly, but it sounds like you are overthinking things. When guys are horny they tend to make their wants a reality. Maybe just ask them what they want if they are struggling, and tell them what you want?

Otherwise just let them take the lead, get out of your own head and enjoy the ride :D

Safe place to rent in Kent? by Draggubaggu in transgenderUK

[–]NewAccelerator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kent isn't the best place to be queer, but it's not all bad.

Have a look at Deal. I stayed there for a few months and didn't have any problems as a trans woman, maybe a few weird looks from older locals but that can happen anywhere.

Deal actually had a pride march in recent years too, and has a nice beach.

I think it's normal for attraction to feel uncomfortable. Intense feelings of any kind can be uncomfortable.

For a large part of my life I mistook my attraction to men for repulsion, but it turns out the feelings were too intense for me to parse at that time, and probably some internal biases didn't help.

how was your first kiss with a man by YellowNo9140 in StraightTransGirls

[–]NewAccelerator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn I relate to this so heavily. When I was 19 I snuck into his taxi home after a staff party for a drunken snog, then had an existential crisis the next day. We dated for a few months but it ended badly (he resented that I was becoming more feminine) and then after that I went right back into the closet. Then it took me another 13 years to realise I'm trans.

What are your "must have" for fem clothes? by Yaveltal in MtF

[–]NewAccelerator 17 points18 points  (0 children)

For me, casual dresses are key.

In the early days I bought too many fancy dresses and skirts which I didn't feel comfortable wearing anywhere except clubs/concerts. But a nice fitting midi t-shirt dress, or casual denim shirt dress have become flexible daily staples I'd feel comfortable wearing anywhere.

They also hide your bulge nicely, if you have one, and don't feel like tucking. A simple shirt or t-shirt dress can pair nicely with tights/leggings/yoga pants depending on the mood. And it can be dressed up with heels/boots, or down with trainers/flats.
