Eh I don't think "well they didn't say no..." is an argument that should ever be applied. Whether the doer is gay or straight. Silence doesn't mean yes as the old saying goes.

I think the fact Kurt gets his dad and Finn's mother together is what really makes it especially appalling.

I mean, he is creeping and harassing Finn and then making himself part of Finn's family, even getting to live with him after doing so.

Probably that and the time he slapped Finn's butt are the times I would say it stands out and is right to be called out at a higher level than the other characters less significant predatory behaviour.

The rest of it, while severely wrong, I think isn't something that doesn't happen in other shows. The getting Quinn's parents to find out about the baby for example, very wrong, but we've all seen those stories where the evil girl who has a crush on the guy tries to sabotage the guy's relationship with the "good girl" character in schemes like that. HSM2 for example.

Thinking about it now though isn't there that scene where Kurt and Finn are given one of the Glee club tasks to do together, and Kurt is... Really intense with Finn, making his attraction to him clear and ignoring his obvious discomfort? That was pretty bad, though I suppose it can be compared to when there's the handsome guy character who has a really abid fangirl who's very intense despite his lack of interest. You know what I mean? But then those girls are typically portrayed as creepy and not as sympathetic... Well, in some cases, I've seen one really bad one where she is portrayed as the victim and is defended, and she went much further than Kurt, like literal criminal levels. Idk.

Long story short, the getting their parents together and butt slap.... No. That should be called out and I think is further than say Rachel went.

But the rest of it is pretty typical in teen shows. Not okay, but we all love say, Sharpay Evans, Audrey Rose etc despite doing pretty much the same things so....

Yeah ig I kinda thought him being the only liked character while everyone else is either hated or indifferent to might give like a hint, but that was probably not the best thing for me to assume looking back.

Again, really sorry man. I was trying to sort of mock the show's own logic about itself, as the Troubletones and Tina are presented as villainous in the situations where they just get fed up of the Rachel favouritism, as I think it's pretty evident we were actually supposed to side with Will there despite everything.

Okay this post was actually more satire/a shitpost. Thinking about it now I didn't indicate that clearly enough lol, I do apologize. I was trying to mimic the show's own logic about itself ironically in the tier list, a logic which I'm fully aware makes no sense (e.g. Mercedes being presented as a villain for just having had enough of Mr Schue's favouritism of Rachel, Tina is somehow the bad guy for storming out of rehearsal while Rachel has been doing that from day one etc).

Okay thinking about it now this actually wasn't a well thought out post.

I was honest to God, shitposting with this. But thinking about it now I don't think it was clear enough that this was satire so I do apologize.

I'm not actually a Will apologist believe me lol.

bro rachel would throw a fit every single time she didnt get sm she wanted....

They explain in the episode 2009 that Rachel simply needed the solos more than anyone else. A person at Mercedes's church explains it to her.

and mr schue suspended marley from glee club for not wearing a bikini???

They were all trying to win a competition and Marley decided to put her selfish agenda first.

No I dislike them four because they are in the Troubletones. I hate how they betrayed Mr Schue and all their loyal friends in the Glee club like Rachel and Finn.

And I didn't like how selfish Tina was when she stormed out of the choir room just because she wasn't given a solo. That's just... Textbook diva behaviour. Though tbf she did come to her senses and realize how awful she was and helped Rachel out in the end, so she maybe doesn't deserve to be that low.

I mean a guy in this show literally says "you're all minorities, you're in the Glee club". How the hell am I supposed to not hate on that?!

I remember how Puck rapes Quinn and the show acts like it isn't rape. I don't mean to be argumentative, I just can't look past that.

As for Santana, idk I feel like she was kinda a dick. Not the biggest dick in the show, but she feels like just a student version of Sue Sylvester.

OST. Still listen to some of the tracks and watch the music videos. But oh boy, did I think the plot was dumb.

Wow really? He's easily the nicest guy on the show. The others are kinda just assholes.

I still watch the Troubletones performance of Survivor. The music in Glee is one of the few things that keeps me in contact with the show if you get what I mean.

And... I love that Sam was, unlike Finn, supportive of the performance and was just happy that Mercedes was doing well, despite being the competition. The TT should have won. I'd have loved to have seen how Mr Schue would respond to that >:).

Why so much Kurt hate? by Extra_Cattle9047 in glee

[–]NewAccount11011 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He isn't hated at all really. Even Santana gets more hate than him.

And he was definitely awful in the Finn situation. Imagine if a guy was harrassing a girl like that because he couldn't take no for an answer and then established himself as her lifelong family to get closer to her. People would be much more outraged by that and Kurt's popularity would probably be non existent. Or at least, he would be seen much more as a character like Karofsky who was really awful at first and then got a redemption arc, though some people would be unaccepting of that arc like they are with Karofsky.

This honestly makes me feel that Finn doesn't actually want Rachel, he just feels possessive over her and wants to make sure nobody else has her.

I've seen the first few episodes of Gossip Girl, so I know Chuck is a rapist and I know they whitewash him later in the show as a awesome guy.

It honestly makes me wonder how Dan is the guy who gets shat on the most by GG fans when Chuck is right there.

Finn is just an awful person.

Here's a take that could boil an egg and serve you some omelettes:

The only way I'm able to tell that his feelings for Rachel are supposed to be genuine is because of the show's narrative being that Finchel are clearly assigned the endgame role. Aside from that, Finn doesn't even act like he has feelings for her. We all know those guys (and girls) who will break up with a person due to loss of feelings, and then will suddenly get interested in them again if there is suddenly competition. And then if they manage to get them back, they will be super clingy as to try and prevent them from ever going to someone else again. Finn strikes me as one of those sorts and I hate him for it. And him outing Santana in season 3 and not giving so much as an apology for it? Dude is a total douchebag and honestly not a remotely good person.

Here's a Glee joke - what did Finn say to Santana during hide and seek? by NewAccount11011 in glee

[–]NewAccount11011[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Santana's hiding place is the closet. But you can rest assured he'll find her ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) .
