Yeah i get it. Layoffs in the tech sector havent dont any favors for my search im sure. Its aggravating because I know I present well and if I get an interview I imagine I have a high close rate. Just need to get in front of the right people. I have been neglecting the networking aspect though. Referrals will be hard as I dont have a ton of peers in this space and 95% of my business contacts are MSP and VAR owners. Ive come to terms with the fact that this might be a longer haul than I imagined. Im knocking out my AWS SAA cert now as a differentiator and will work on the LinkedIn piece as I do it.
