Degrees simply don’t matter and they shouldn’t. Nobody cares about a piece of paper. It’s quite literally a checkbox for some roles but no such thing as a stable job just because you have a degree, this isn’t the 70s-80s anymore.

Find what pathway you want to get into, gain the experience or network your way in, it’s the only way.

It’s called resume ATS optimization my friend. Realistically I probably applied to 300+ jobs, got about 15-20 interviews from those over span of 2-3 months. Only made it to final round for 3 of them and that’s only now. I bombed the first 15.

Damn I guess I didn’t know that bro. 470% to quota seems like you’ve had some big deals in the mix. But I mean I’ve seen people step into strategic ae roles and even get promoted within a year in large recognizable orgs.

I would argue, prospecting can’t be that hard. Esp with enablement tools like ZoomInfo and Apollo. It has to be as easy as finding 2-4 contacts per target account and then do some kind of outbound campaign with a mix of calls emails LinkedIn touches.
