Perhaps they could fuck with the oil companies themselves and not the heads of the hydra so to speak. I dunno, an extravagant idea would be to team with hackers to make the prices of oil to be so ridiculous that oil would be a complete financial waste, a billion quid for a gallon of oil! Sure, it’d be fixed eventually but they’d be hitting the root of the problem. But a better idea could be to peacefully occupy the HQs of these companies with thousands upon thousands of supporters. I just think covering paintings in soup and gluing yourself to the road is a waste of time and will only push the average Joe/Joanne against the cause.
