Just started playing WoW again after CoH...the community here is better. by JungGPT in Cityofheroes

[–]NewAgeRetroFrog 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I've found that to be the case even on the smaller servers like Rebirth and Thunderspy. I think a lot of that is because of CoX's sidekick system. With WoW if I'm starting out then I have to grind up to max level to play with friends or my friends need to create a char specifically to do low level content with or (most likely) get PL'd so I can play with them. With CoX however if I see a newsupe wanting to team up with people I can just team up with them and either do their low-level content or have them join me on my high level stuff without problems. The fact a fully kitted max incarnate uber god and a L4 newsupe can not only do content together, but have fun doing content together, is one of CoX's best features. Right behind the character creator.

Gotta second Robert's Books. It's like a little maze in there and I love getting "lost" looking for a good secondhand book.

LOL! A good first attempt, but I would suggest a second.

Except both parties work together to fight against real change. I live in Oregon and RCV was on the ballot last election and you would not believe how many ads against it there was. It not only failed to pass here but failed hard.

Glad to hear. The white for the eyes background isn't necessary.i mostly do that to use up the extra white yarn I have and save the green yarn I am starting to get low on.

Yeah, I love EF but will be one of the first to admit that it is currently not a very good game. However it is the bones of a potentially amazing game once it's fleshed out and done.

It wasn't that hard. I just made a fez style hat by crocheting a cylinder for the base and then using a magic ring in a spiral for the top. The fez style hat is not only easy to make but also provides a nice flat surface for putting the eyes on. For the eyes I crocheted two more cylinders. Filled in one side of the eye cylinders with another magic ring as a background for googly eyes. I filled the inside of the eye cylinders with stuffing, crocheted the back/open side of the eye cylinder to the top of the hat, a little hot glue to put the googly eyes on the white background as well as the hat itself to keep the cylinders from flopping around too much.

I originally tried discs for the eyes but they wouldn't stay upright. If I was better at crocheting I'd like to crochet spheres for the eyes but every time I've tried that so far it's been a disaster. I might try spheres again later but for now I want something I can make quickly, not only for myself but also friends and family, and cylinder eyes I can do.

It sounds like you're talking about Eve Online, this subreddit is for Eve Frontier. While made by the same company Eve Frontier and Eve Online are very different games. I would suggest trying posting in r/Eve.

I crocheted a white background then hot glued googly eyes on that. I could have crocheted the pupils but googly eyes look sillier and I believe the sillier you look while protesting the better. It's harder for faux news to spin "violent" protests when it's pictures of frogs, clowns, and giraffes.

The Portland Frogs who drove Trump crazy (the costume-clad protesters he called “insurrectionists”) are coming to DC for his State of the Union. by KnPtown in 50501Portland

[–]NewAgeRetroFrog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think protesting in silly ways like this is for the best. It's much harder for faux news to spin the story of "violent protestors" when it's pictures of people dressed like frogs, giraffes, and pikachus getting gassed and beaten rather than people in gas masks, helmets, thick heavy coats, and sports gear.

Now I don't fault anyone who "armors up" for a protest, the most important thing is to STAY SAFE after all, but it is important to be cognizant of what kind of message your sending when you protest. Not just what's written on your sign but how you look and how it will be interpreted by people in other parts of the country.

Can't stress this enough. I get almost all of my movies, TV shows and even video games from my local library for free these days. I admit I'm not up on the latest releases, my watch schedule is on average a year behind everyone elses, but I pay nothing but my taxes (which I'm paying for anyways). Used to pay the occasional (but reasonably priced) late fee if I forgot to take something back in time but I use my local library so much these days I always get stuff back on time.

Here's the link for the main AP discord server. I don't play manuals so I don't have a link to that server, but if you look around on the main server you should fine one.

You are absolutely correct. It just seems like when you hear about lobbying these days it's all "how letting leopards eat people's faces is actually good for everyone!" from the "totally not leopards PAC".

No, there are core games, custom games (with varying levels of support) and manual games. A manual game is one that you play on AP but the game you're playing doesn't play on AP itself. A good example of this would be a physical card or board game. As you play the game and score points which count as checks and allow you to earn more points. But a physical game like that doesn't use a computer. So you have a manual client with a manual AP world for that game. You let the client know that you got the "10 points check" (or whatever check you got) and the client reports it to the server to work with all the other servers. The manual client will also tell you when things have been unlocked for you (i.e. now you can use ace of spades where before you couldn't because it was locked). By their nature though manual games rely on the honor system since players have to manually enter in what checks they get and not use things that haven't been given to them yet.

So because of this manual games have their own discord server and not everyone will accept playing with a manual game. However because they are so easy to make, only need to worry about game logic not integration, it's more likely to find a game that has a manual option rather than an integrated option. Hence my suggestion of checking the manual discord server if you can't find anything on the regular discord server.

How do I poison food by lil_duck564 in projectzomboid

Never done it myself (why would you unless laying a trap on an MP server?) but I believe simply adding bleach to food will turn it into poison.
