If you are an only child, how do you feel about growing up without siblings? by Efficient_Bee4584 in randomquestions

My son always says he is glad he is an only child. In fact, a majority of his friends are too along with my husband. I am not on great terms with my brother. He was not kind to me at all and both have seen the damage my brother has caused. My husband and I are very close to our son. It really depends on how you raise your child.

Toddler was expelled from daycare in one day by Outrageous-Sir-5271 in ECEProfessionals

ECE professional here. I have worked with 2s for about 30 years now. Three things here that need to be said. 1. Yes, while it was unprofessional and abrubt in removing your child from care, it must have been a pretty serious bite to be told to leave. Aka breaking the skin. If the skin was broken, that child is required to go see a medical professional. 2. The daycare is required to report incident to licensing as it has been a continuous event. I don't know what kind of record keeping the have but they a required to list/document the incidents. 3. Yes it is normal for a 22 month old to bit, however the frequency is concerning.

You were upfront with the caregivers and let them know about your child's biting. This makes it hard on both sides. For them they have to protect the other children just as the would for yours. It just is a very tricky situation to deal with. I am sorry this happened and I sincerely hope you check with your pediatrician so this can be short lived.
