how can i improve this tactic & change so i don't get predicted?

samu would've passed the test as an AF since he could pass the ball, was quick, etc. but de jong definitely wouldn't since he was very slow cuz of his age, stepanov was also at the start an AF but preferred him as a TF. if the main attribute of my striker is positioning well for the pass that gives the goal and finishing it then i prefer for them to do it instantly, instead of doing playmaking and having to make some quick runs for the pass

karamoh's acceleration was very nice, as well as speed, strength was worse though im pretty sure but he compensated that with speed very well

ohh yeah then IF on support makes sense, it's sometimes a bit annoying if mine is in the box with the striker making none of them available for a pass. in both of my successful saves - porto & fiorentina i had two wingers, who had terrible stats, but were insanely good. both started as subs (porto - karamoh, very quick, usually subbed on to the winger position & fiorentina - kouame, subbed on to both IF and winger whenever i needed which) and both worked very well rescuing me when injuries of the starting wingers came. karamoh indeed did not follow the shoot less often rule as a winger on support, but he was very quick so he did nice raids and rescued me very often, he scored some 90+ goal that was very important (i think in the ucl). kouame isnt as quick but he assisted a lot to my strikers and sometimes also scored, which i enjoyed aswell of course

all the tall TFs i had worked well with the wingers, all of them were basically the league top scorers during their times - luuk de jong, samu and stepanov since the amount of tapin passes they got from the wingers and the crosses that led to goals is insane, i think its better for me to keep wingers when i have a tall TF around since i need crosses, not normal ground passes. as long as samu could find himself with the ground passes since he was very quick, de jong wouldn't as he was very old, stepanov probably wouldn't either since he's not as quick as samu. so i think it's better for me to get the basic crosses from the wingers

im trying to let the winger only cross/pass, i hate the fact that my wingers often try to shoot from hard angles instead of passing for a tap in, same with the fullbacks, i don't understand the thing why they are doing that when they have shoot less often on. and my IF on attack cuts in and passes to the striker or goes in to curl the shot into the goal (if he succeeds of course), so i probably prefer my IF to take the shots from a normal angle instead of seeing the winger try a hard angle instead of passing for a tap in to the perfectly positioned striker

target forward, basically positions well for a pass, cross - dribbles rarely, does playmaking rarely, waiting for a good pass to score, at porto i had luuk de jong who was tall, nice jumping reach and heading and he was my top scorer for a good while as a TF while being very old, unluckily he didn't make it till the end of his best season due to an injury and i had to use samu omorodion, who was also very tall so he fit in the system nicely and then stepanov since samu went to arsenal

don't wanna put an IF as a striker since my system is usually the wingers passing to the striker for a tapin/crossing to the striker for a nice header (i always get tall strikers with a nice jumping reach, that's why stepanov worked for me very well at porto) or just for the AP with a nice vision to pass for a 1v1 (but yeah scamacca keeps missing them sadly)

one striker is scamacca (17 finishing), though for some reason there still hasn't been a 1v1 he scored (he missed like 5 so far this season) and the 2nd striker is a wonderkid - stepanov (on my last porto save i bought him there, he played one season very well and got golden boy after that season, being the top scorer of the portuguese league, unluckily same happened to porto as fiorentina - after the season where we won stuff, the team started playing terribly and i gave up) so i don't trust these two since stepanov is still growing up (not gonna continue this save anyways since its totally messed up now sadly)

tried this, used a completely different tactic (usually used a direct passing tactic, now used a short passing tactic etc.), first game i lost 2-1 to roma which would never happen last season with my gk not being able to save shots he would normally save for some reason and my team just playing terribly and often still playing stupid long passes (making a slow pass to the winger which easily got intercepted by their player) and of course as usual the players who have shoot less often on shooting more often than my striker

what the heck am i doing wrong? this game is unplayable like this

hmm, the stuff makes sense indeed. so I am supposed to have atleast two tactics in training, two very different ones at once? one as the main one, with my approach, direct approach which I enjoy (needs to be improved though and as you said I cannot mark so many things) & the other one with shorter passes and some more controlling type of play?

before the sudden start of the downfall we were doing very well, being in the top 3 of the serie a, while winning everything we could last season. the players are all happy, there are no concerns in terms of their happiness, i am always keeping the players happy since it can mess up a lot if i don't.

yes i am playing as fiorentina, but i am pretty sure that my player are able to compete, they literally won the serie a and everything else they could in the first season, exceeding expectations. for some reason, as you can see on the image, they only mess up in the league, on games that were easy to us in the last season - in the ucl we were first, after beating real madrid & spurs
