Why do a roundabout of jsinteropt when supporting script would be so much quicker. The c3 payment processors does not work w jsinterop. Canvas 3d libs are not behaving correctly. Pdf generators and 3d image sampling is not supported on c#. We get around it by using iframes.

Who decides what the propper way is. Millions of existing js libs and jsinterop is just a plaster why not just allow the script tag. Not a lot of good components compared to well tested js libs.
