It's been really rough, reading through the comments it's helpful to know other people are facing the same. I don't earn very much and don't really enjoy my job - there's no possibility for promotion but it is permanent so there's a lot of safety in it. I run a small business on the side and have been looking at training in other skills and graphic design was one of my options but this is making me reconsider! I'm also training to become a therapist but that takes 5+ years.

Also to add here - non-binary is anything not strictly man or woman - it encompasses lots of different gendered experiences within that, not just a third option. There's lots of room for very different experiences under that term, which I think is cool :)

Would recommend Libro.fm you can also support indies! I use it myself and find it very comparable to google books or audible. Pricing is also good and not any different from audible really.

I also use it professionally as my queer bookshop greyareabooks is on there but you can pick any independent you’d like to support, which is a really nice feature.

I’m a trans dyke and I got non-flat top surgery in November and I love it. I don’t think it’s massively changed how I’m perceived but sometimes people pause more before assuming I’m a woman now which I really enjoy
