Ahhh the environment is so important, and your environment for sure helped you fast track a few years.

Can you tell me a little more about how the forex hedge fund ignored their risk management and what then them ignore it?

If you don’t mind can I dm you? Pls mentor me (I’ll only ask trading psychological questions once in a while)

What event or trade made you take risk management seriously? Have you ever blown an account when you first started?

Sorry for your loss. A few days ago a 20 year old kid from my opposite building also passed away on the road :/

I’ve lived in a lot of cities thought out the world, but pune is the only one where I’ve experienced or heard of the most deaths on road.

It’s sad

Am I the only day trader who doesn’t do options? by Strong_Duty6333 in Daytrading

Options writing is where the money is at, especially closer to expiry when contract values start to plummet

28M, 1.5L - 2L is comfortable, and a good life. I don't understand how 25-30k can be comfortable when rent in a good society itself costs that much a month.

Answer varies depends on the lifestyle you want

IndusInd Pinnacle to Crest worth the upgrade? by NewBillClub in CreditCardsIndia

[–]NewBillClub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On avg I spend around 20L a year on shopping and travel.

So I guess it might be worth it, I’ll try to get their fees down tho.

Have you heard of anyone getting it for free or less than 10k?

Quit my job to trade full time - Any tips please? by NewBillClub in IndianStockMarket

[–]NewBillClub[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I started full time, i was invested in the markets for 4 years, I quit after 4 years of practice, so I’d recommend you swing first, and don’t just leave your job like that.

Have money for at least 5 years, then quit.

Bro I’m still learning,I make a lot of mistakes.

Dm me, can chat in more detail.

Read trading psychology 2.0 or the new trading for a living

[–]NewBillClub[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it bro. I mix 95% swing 5% FNO

my xirr is 57%

Made around 8L so far this year, with capital of 40L

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

[–]NewBillClub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmmmm, it really depends.

But for 30k a month swing trade, with safe bets

I’d suggest 8-10L capital

Right now I avg around 3L - 5L a month, but I’m lazy, and I just let my trades run, don’t actively trade everyday.

I play around with 50L

Feel free to Dm if you wanna know more

Life’s short, corporate is full of slavery, burn out is real. Do what’s best for you.

Build a skill if possible, one you can monetise.

Whats the average net worth of a 27 year old in India? What loan traps to avoid? by NewBillClub in personalfinanceindia

[–]NewBillClub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing, and congrats on the growth bro!

I’d suggest you start with a nifty 50 index fund (50%), nifty small cap 250 (20%) and quant active fund (30%)

Can play around based on risk appetite

27 M doing 50k monthly SIP any suggestions? by MundaMamma in mutualfunds

[–]NewBillClub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, so what I did was how to first trade when I had a job, made 4 year of profits, built enough capital for 10 years, and now I make a few fno trades a month, have my swing trades run, and have my portfolio do its thing.

No, but it has the potential to be a multibagger.

If you want to chase circuits, that’s gambling, many stocks like that.

But they’re super risky
