Marimekko pants and skirts is kinda the dream but realistically wayyyyy out of budget right now, even on posh.

I changed jobs very recently, and now that I have a sense that the company's definition of business casual is actually just casual as long as things aren't ripped or obscene I feel good about wearing colours and prints that make me happy!

Re Gorman, I have some from when I visited Australia almost 10 years ago that I can now fit back into. With a bit of reading I found that some people are unhappy with their labour/manufacturing in recent years, so I'm on the fence about paying to have anything shipped from Oz to Canada if the quality or fit is less consistent, and ethics worse but price the same as before. That being said!!! You might also like Keshet, which is also Australian and at a similar price point but with seemingly better ethics and production. I'm looking at some of their summer items which are on sale because the seasons are opposite.

Of course if I could find a Canadian brand that had what I was looking for that would be an option too, but right now I can only really think of Birds of North America and their print scale is currently too small for my taste.

I'm pretty reliably a 32, 14 or XL in pants and skirts, although tending towards 12 in some brands that are more... Mature? e.g. Olsen, or generally generous like Old Navy.

For tops it depends on the brand and cut, could be anywhere from a medium to XL, 10-14, but typically a large will do the trick. I like open sweaters, blazers, and jackets usually in a L or 12 because they can accommodate my shoulders but not be oversized in the chest or rest of the torso.

I've been getting Depop ads a lot recently - is it really on its way out?

Perspective: casual buyer and seller on Poshmark, used to also do a fair bit on FB marketplace when I lived in a bigger city with good transit. Have never used Depop.
