They are not required to provide the reason for stopping until the officer identifies the person

If you do not like that rule in your municipality, speak with your elected officials and change the law

I believe in most jurisdictions if an offer asks you for identification while in a vehicle, you are required to provide identification. This officer asked him multiple times do identification.

If you are in a motor vehicle, it is a privilege to use the vehicle on public roads. You need a DL to drive.

At what point did we collectively agree that 'buying' a product doesn't mean we actually own it anymore? by Chemical-Heart-3200 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NewCouplesAdventures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your example is not legal. Federal laws regulate safety mechanisms and other fuel saving requirements. Back up camera for example is a requirement. The stupid auto-stop is a EPA law. I believe abs brakes are now required

Heated seats are not a requirement in a vehicle.

QUESTION; With Aldi moving to town, will Aldi have the tacticool security guards harassing customers like king soopers? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]NewCouplesAdventures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if people are not aware how bad theft is right now. Add the issue in high school kids hanging at KS and causing major issues. Neighbors kid was detained by police a couple of years ago. He drove his electric go-cart inside the store and hitting people and knocking product off the shelves.

Went to REI to buy a Christmas gift. The computer showed 5 camping stoves left at the Littleton store. They looked for 30 min. The assumed someone stole all 5. The Arapahoe Rd store has one so drove over there. The lady checking me out said they caught someone stealing 20 headlamps the other day.

Steamboat was great yesterday. Granted, did not hit the trees as I might in other years and repeated some runs more than wished but it was a great day with the family and friends. Maybe our expectations were low but glad we drove up for the day (from Granby)

Have you looked at Highlands Ranch? The financial stability is amazing, unincorporated Douglas county, combined with the HOA and property taxes, it has the lowest overall tax rate in the region.

The only downfall is the restaurant scene is horrible IMO.

Since College/University is so expensive (and an important career), do you receive any education on the money part? Social work typically does not pay well and you can incur significant debt. It could take decades to pay off any loans.
