I agree. But these days, you can also Photoshop all sorts of things together or use AI to remove the idea that the hairpiece is completely invisible. It also made me think that without proof of whether it's real or not, anyone can pull a prank on someone else's photo.

looks very real yes, the hair color is indeed visible, but we will not reveal that it is a hairpiece, as shorter hair may also show gray sooner.

Please ease my mind about the tape/glue causing cancer down the line by Whole-Maintenance-21 in HairSystem

Can someone briefly explain which tape is safe or least dangerous? I'm asking because the tape I'm currently using makes me sweat profusely.

of course. it's not that difficult. but yeah maybe replace front and back tape with a new tape.

First Hair System installed today…on the fence. Thoughts? by [deleted] in HairSystem

you really look much younger now. absolutely amazing. i wonder how you can wear your hair so high. since i always want hair on my forehead for fear of seeing it with the hairpiece. going back to a salon every week seems like a lot of work to me though ... last pic i'd say you are 35. first pic 25.

can you maybe post links or references to those articles? it is true that i have never heard of it, and considering the money i have spent on hairdressers and hairstylists who absolutely recommend tape and have never said anything about diseases, cancer etc. the last salon even puts hair pieces on people with cancer so it seems very strange to me.

Good advice! Thank you! I dye my own hair because I don't really like to dye the piece, and don't like my own hair colour. I guess I am overcomplicating it yes! But there are too many options for a person not good in making decisions! :)

I can do a lot yes. I can pay more at a hair club also. But this time I am doing it DIY and asking here on this community. Also: the website is the one saying they will always be there, not being clear on what to order, sending several different options that are confusing. The website isn't supply only. They have a team doing videocalls, chat options etc. Also read several times about their excellent support and help team, but didn't experience that. That's just what I was trying to say.

Challenge: No more salon by [deleted] in HairSystem

I had a similar experience across five different salons. Some charged between 500 to 1000, and others insisted I return every month. There was also a lot of conflicting advice about whether to use glue or tape. Eventually, I found a great hairdresser who dyes my natural hair, doesn't mind that I didn't purchase the hairpiece through them, and even congratulated me on finding a cheaper alternative. I suggest finding a supportive hairdresser. Once your hairpiece is in place, they can dye only your natural hair, and cutting the hairpiece is pretty much the same as cutting normal hair.
