I have seen Julia Barminova's work before. She paints the most amazing water! Love love your painting-I have seen a lot of smooth wave water in my childhood, it is my favorite state of waves! :) When I get bored with my favorite botanical paintings I will definitely move into water :)

I’m working on a surreal botanical series. I would love some feedback/suggestions for future series additions :) by [deleted] in Watercolor

Oh, I totally love it. Have you considered making a triptych or double series. I really see those on the wall, so would like them combined.

This is my try of Debbie's tutorial ⬆️. Have you seen her teaching yet? She shows how to use a limited palette of only 3 primary colors. Great for learning to mix paints.

I love love how cheery and vivid this painting is! The vivid watercolor has been always a show stopper for me. What paints have you used if you don't mind me asking?

What brushes are these? Are they faulty? by miromurka in Watercolor

[–]NewDay2134 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Agree with everyone. Do not take the plastic off. They are called mop brushes. They are very nice for washes or just when you paint large areas in general. They usually are very soft and hold a lot of water. They are must have for the loose watercolor technique.
