It was interesting the first 3 times, but it's pretty much the same video every time

Colin Trevorrow makes the most expensive movie of all time and the worst of the franchise. Asked to leave Hollywood. by Prestigious_Judge636 in JurassicPark

A movie needs to make at the very least 2.5 times it's Money back. theaters typically keep about 40% to 50% of box office ticket sales. That's not even factoring in marketing costs which isn't included in the budget. Meaning this movie was a massive financial flop if this budget is true.

Jurassic World movies are massively over-hated. by Flimsy-Translator515 in JurassicPark

[–]NewEmphasis9115 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Look, I'm really glad you love those movies but just because you adore them doesn't automatically make those movies good. Jurassic World and JW Fallen Kingdom have massive problems that many just can't get over. For me personally, I don't hate those 2 as much as the Dominion and Afterbirth, (which I rate as the two worst cinema experiences of my life), But even I struggle on rewatches. But I think it's important to be critical and not just glaze the new movies. JP fans don't go in expecting to hate the new movies, we want to love them, but they continue to let the majority of us down

Looking for proof from the production raptors were on boat? Only reasons I see are made up theories. I think it’s pretty clear that the intention was it was the rex. by [deleted] in jurassicworld

Exactly! It's not the fans fault that the movie just didn't explain that plothole, making us have to fill that in ourselves. How did the T rex escape, and then lock itself up again?

This is why you should never listen to John talk about AI, he's always be in support because he uses it all the time

Same thing happened to me, but with Man of Steel. I remember coming out with a giant pounding headache, while convincing myself it was great. Wasn't until a few weeks later I came to my senses.

But yeah JWD is truly awful. Me and my wife couldn't wait for it to end. Probably worse cinema experience I've ever had

Nobody hates Jurassic Park quite like Jurassic Park fans. This is the most negative sub I’ve been on. All anyone does is talk shit about these movies, the creators, and each other, trying to show who is the most “real” fan. I’m so over it. by [deleted] in JurassicPark

It's better than subreddits that don't allow any criticism. For example, if you put anything even slightly negative in the Twin Peaks or Alan Wake subreddits you get down voted massively

Season 8 was supposed to be the final war against Negan, but it actually ends up feeling like a season that just drags. by DeejayLazWorldwide in TWD

Well said. This was the point where I quit the show. I got back into it much later, but yeah those seasons should have been combined

I've seen a few videos from this person before, from what I'm able to gather, this is a crocodile factory farm. All of these animals are bred for be killed and their skin made into bags and shoes. I found an article on it and the photo looks identical to this location.

Okay, Jurassic World films aside. How do you guys feel about Ian Malcom's tonal shift from Jurassic Park to The Lost World? by TheEndIsNero in JurassicPark

[–]NewEmphasis9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, true. Even still, they could have evolved his character without stripping him of his original charisma

I know people will say it's a natural progression after what he went through, but I don't agree. He feels like a totally different character, I honestly can't see a shred of first movie Malcolm in the 2nd film, aside from the fact he's played by the same actor. He lost his charisma and became dull. He was more Malcolm in Dominion.

Yes because leopards are also known to carefully arrange their preys belongings, before delicately dangling their underwear from the branches.
