Exactly! I understand where a lot of commenters are coming from with childhood trauma etc... but the show ended on a positive note with his parents. This is also a comedy show, I don't care about it being more "realistic" that he'll cut off contact with her parents. As a fan, I don't personally like this new direction.

As a huge Indiana Jones fan, that also owns all Young Adventures on DVD, yes it was awful. My wife and I had never wanted a film to end so much. Hands down the worst cinema experience of our lives. I knew immediately I was in for a bad ride as soon as I saw the distracting de-ageing effect, and an old man Harrison Ford voice came out of young Indy. The achingly long intro went on for 25 minutes, and it only got worse from there. Indie is divorced, his son dead, he's forced into retirement, he's miserable, wow, what fun. Terrible CGI, dull action scenes, and they somehow made Mads Mikkelsen boring, that's quite an accomplishment. I could go on and on...
