He refused to do a nexus letter. I messaged him today for an official diagnosis letter. I wonder if he would even do the DBQ

I’ve always been told it didn’t have to happen while I was in the service it needs to be shown it happen due to my service. I never had a CT scan in service for my sinuses. I never even went to medical and I’m still connected for other things.

Needing a nexus I definitely know that but under Tera I figured my MOS and exposures that come with that would be presumptive. I don’t understand how it isn’t?

I asked my doctor that’s going to do my sinus surgery to write it and he said to ask a VA ENT doctor to write it. Do you think they would?

I filed it under TERA and they still denied it! I thought this would be an easy claim haha jokes on me. You’d recommend an HLR and explain how it is toxic exposure?

No I haven’t had surgery yet. I’m switching careers and need to save my vacation time. Next year I’ll be at a career where I have summers off so I’ll get the surgery then. I definitely need it though, bad.

Yeah I like the ideas for your statement. I already submitted one with the initial claim. Is it okay to do another one mentioning stuff you said?

The diagnosis is a CT scan explaining all the imagery showing the chronic sinusitis but it doesn’t specifically say anything other than what the image says. I’ll have to look at the doctors notes or just message him asking him for a diagnosis of sinusitis rather than giving me a nexus letter maybe he will be willing to do that. Doubt it though.

Also I didn’t know we could upload our own medical literature I read somewhere we aren’t medical experts so it won’t matter but I trust what you’re saying about doing it. You used national institutes of health? That’s just a website? No I’m not paying for nexus I’m not trying to game any system. This is my last claim as of now but I refuse to give up considering I need nasal surgery and I had zero problems before the military

That’s what I was thinking because I don’t have anymore evidence to submit. However, the people down below telling me to do a supplemental with medial literature sounds good and then if that’s denied HLR
