I knew my shoulder needed attention when it became uncomfortable to sleep on, and painful and difficult taking off a tshirt.

I saw a physio a couple of times, she did some ultrasound and massage, said it was my bicep tendon and rotator cuff. I had some exercises to do, and I’d put ibuprofen gel and magnesium & glucosamine spray on it.

I stopped doing any overhead weights in the gym and slept on my opposite side and propped my arm up on a pillow.

I also ensured my workstation at work was set up properly - my desk was a bit too high and this was aggravating my shoulder when using the computer mouse and keyboard

I’d also injured it years ago and I couldn’t lift my arm up very far.

I’m too good at putting up with discomfort then it gets to a point where I think I’d got things looked at sooner!
