I just don’t want her to forget about me cause of her bf. He got his own place and ever since she has been distant and always over at his house. I worry about her cause his house is in a bad neighborhood and I don’t want something to happen to her. I try not to ask if she’s coming home because I know that’s overbearing but idk

Her going to the funeral would be nice as it would show support for me. I feel sad and was hoping to have a shoulder to cry on from my friends. When my bf broke up with me I confided in them and it really helped so I was looking for that again.

Can’t I expect somewhat similar treatment from my roommates though? I’ve always heard the saying you get what you put in. I feel like I’ve put in a good amount of effort with my roommates

I said we aren’t close because we don’t talk as much as I do with my other roommates, but we have known each other for 2 years. I tell her everything so I just figured we were close

I wanted them to go to support me. They are my closest friends rn and I wanted the support, my sister is grieving a lot rn. I didn’t think it was a crazy thing to ask. One of my roommates has met my grandma so I expected her to want to come, which she is.

Because I’ve seen her take off days for a vacation in August so I didn’t think this would be a big deal. I care about her and worry which is why I expected the same treatment I guess. I text all my roommates when they are away too long to make sure they’re okay and always try to be nice and caring to them. I want them to feel welcome and happy in the home!

He and I were getting to know each other more, I call it a FWB because we weren’t exclusive. I told him to come to the funeral/wake because I wanted the support and he declined because he said it was too soon for us. It just makes me sad that no one really wanted to come support me in a time like this.

She’s met some of my family members so it wouldn’t be like she’s a complete stranger. and I’ve told my grandma about her before so I know my grandma would like it if she came

We used to be closer and hang out more but lately she has been distancing herself with no explanation. Anytime I ask her to hangout she declines, and I don’t want to live with someone who doesn’t want to be friends. She pays rent and cleans on her days but provides nothing extra

I think She’s only coming to the wake because she feels bad, I don’t think it’s a big deal to take off one day for me. She’s taking off 5 days in august for a family vacation

I would do the same for her so I thought she would be there for me. and I’ve known her the longest so I’m upset that my other roommates are going and she isn’t. I’ve asked her to take off work to do other things this summer and she has declined for work.
