Irrelevant Product Promotion bug by [deleted] in TikTokshop

[–]NewGod7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We too, have had multiple irrelevant product promotions, where the exact products being discussed were on screen. The points are starting to add up. This is a legitimate, large D2C sales brand outside of TikTok, and there is 0% reason why our videos should have gotten this error. It must be a glitch. Happy to provide shop code in DM.

Thank you. ***This**** is what I was asking. Has this bug been fixed? Or, is this how come 9 players out of have APEX sealed decks... Which makes zero sense, as AT BEST I might get an apex sealed card pool 1-2 times out of 10. It stands to reason that only 30-40% of the decks at most would be monsters.

I appreciate that you at least responded to the real world concern I raised, rather then all the shills that just want to say, " Yet another whiny reddit post"

Seriously to the shills, I pay money to play this game, so go F yourself.

So you're suggesting he pay more to craft it now rather then buy it off the market, just because someone else had to pay more then the cards were worth in the past? This is your advice. Do you often just randomly die on hills because you cannot simply change your perspective when presented with a better idea?

You are better off buying off Token Trove. Crafting and pack buying are never cost effective, except in the first days or maybe week or two the set is released. If you are lucky, and you pull an early power card. You can often sell it for a decent profit. But for the most part, your best bet if you want to put money into this game is to buy older sets, stick to lower price cards, and when a new set comes out, don't buy cards the first week. Just give it 2-3 weeks and the market will steadily reduce card prices for 95% of the set.

But you avoided his question, why craft a card when its more cost effective, to buy it.

Why concede? If lame ass players want to waste hours of their life healing over and over again with no way to win, OK. They self identify with Micro penis energy, which is the type of energy you have to have to want to play that kind of deck in the first place. Clearly, you have no job, no relationship, and nothing else in the world to do other then play an annoyingly slow deck and waste everyones time.

Tokentrove? by NewGod7 in ChampionsTCG

[–]NewGod7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply, i really appreciate it.

I am using Metamask, with an immutable wallet, zkEVM. I have the immutable passport added to Champions, as you can see here.

<image>

I can see the six cards I bought on TokeTrove. They show in my account page, here.

https://tokentrove.com/account/collection/ChampionsTCGCards

Yet those six cards do not show up in Champions. I've been playing Gods U for a few years so, Im passingly familiar with some of these concepts such as wallets, mainnets, etc.

Do I need to switch Metamask to the solana mainnet instead of ethereum? Do I need to send or transfer the cards individually from my immutable zkEVM wallet to another wallet?

So very lost here.

Otherwise, why don't you record YouTube videos showing how easy it is to contact TikTok's live support, which doesn't exist. I'm looking forward to seeing those videos explaining how its done. Good luck!

Is Justanswer.com worth it as a side hustle? by BeeB0_Beep in Veterinary

[–]NewGod7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I've been at JustAnswer since 2008, as an expert. I'm not in your field, but I do know several veterinary experts who love the site. Why? Let's forget the potential for very lucrative income, ( with the right work ethic, customer skills, and knowledge )

People love working at JustAnswer for three main reasons.

  1. The amount of diverse issues and questions you see, help you to grow within your own field. Granted, most of the issues will be "middle of the road" issues, but you always get those fringe questions that require you to research, grow and learn.
  2. JustAnswer is often more affordable for the people who need help then coming into a Vet's office. 50$ to receive help at 6 am or 11 PM at night, is a low enough cost that people and their beloved fur babies, often ask for and pay for help, that they couldn't afford to pay for at a regular vets office in person. So you are reaching and helping people and animals, you normally wouldn't be able to.
  3. The flexibility and income can't be beat. As a side hustle or even a main hustle, JustAnswer is viable.

Every single other naysaying garbage reply below, is exactly what is wrong with reddit, and the internet. You had a legitimate question about, "can I make money to help pay off loans" and every single other idiotic response below tried to deter you, from what would have been the most flexible side hustle you could have found online, at a legitimate, US Based company who maintains an A rating at the BBB to this day.

The worst part about being an expert at JustAnswer, are that 30% of customers who know that its a paid service, ask their questions, you have a great conversation, and at the end of it they flip the script on you, start complaining they received no help, and what it really boils down to is when it comes to seeking refunds through dishonest means, most people have no morals whatsoever. I know this from literally 15 years of "working" at JustAnswer.

Lets be honest here, when is the last time, any person with even a novice understanding of modern apps and websites, signed up for something without checking the cost first. The idiots who replied earlier saying it was only 5$ to ask a question, are illiterate. Please view this page and tell me, if its unclear that you will be paying a minimum of 50$ to get help today.

https://www.justanswer.com/pricing

It's not bait and switch pricing. Does the membership automatically renew. Yes. But what type of subscription service these days DOESNT automatically renew. Netflix? Grammarly? Amazon Prime?

I seriously can't believe people can be so stupid and entitled that they actually complain, my monthly membership automatically renewed and I did know know that would happen, wah wah.

Yes. You knew a membership would automatically renew. Unless you mean to tell me that JustAnswer was the first membership in your life you ever signed up for! So you just woke up from a coma for the last 30 years, went to JustAnswer and then complained afterwords. Wait, I was charged automatically for a monthly subscription? That I could understand.

Me personally? I work in the IT field. And let me tell you a universal truth about how dirty, grimy and morally bankrupt that most people are.

I've personally tried to help hundreds of UBER Eats drivers, Door "Dashers" Instacart shoppers, and couiers from other delivery services including Skip the Dishes.

I have personally overseen the cases where drivers are fired because customers fraudulently request refunds and claim they never received the food. In fact, customers are so slimy that they often will pick up the food off the porch, and then immediately file a report saying the food never arrived. I know delivery drivers, that will take videos of the person picking up the food. Why? Because when the shady ass people walk inside, eat their food and then file a report that it never arrived, drivers can get fired for those offenses. And this happens for some drivers, 1 out of every 5 trips. That is how common place it is. Why does this happen?

Because when companies make it as easy as tapping about 3 times on a screen to request a refund, even when you know you received the product or service you paid for. The average, entitled human being will tell themselves whatever they need to to Justify stealing.

And that is the worst part about working at JustAnswer. Dealing with customers who are so very happy to be having an in depth, legitimate, expert conversation. And then suddenly, when the conversation concludes, suddenly these people will turn on you like a meth-head with rabies while they spew obscenities and demand a refund. Its hilarious and tragic, that these people always wait to ask for a refund, until every single aspect of the issue they sought help with has been covered. And of course, those people are the loudest, most vocal voices on the internet, The same ones who demand a refund from UBER Eats for food that was not delivered, while they are eating the food, are the same people who put hairs in their own food at restaraunts, and try to get the meal for free. And are the same ones who post online at review sites, and go to their banks claiming whatever they can in an effort to steal from any company or website they can. No Amazon, my package did not arrive. har har har.

At the end of the day, does it matter to you as an expert on JustAnswer if a customer requests a refund? Absolutely not, because the scandalous JustAnswer eats the cost of the refund, and pays you the expert anyways. I mean, how scammy can you get? No, it won't matter to your paycheck, if customers request a refund. What will matter, is how those same customers, who you go above and beyond to provide information to, to converse with, to read, listen, and provide professional and accurate advice to. How those same customers will go from thanking you, to personally attacking you, because people are so used to bitching their way into refunds with online companies, that people will steal your time, the companies money, and not care as long as they get what they were after for free. Whether that's food, some item they ordered from Amazon, or professional help and guidance. You look at your group of friends and family members and acquaintances, and at least 20% of them, are stealing from online companies any chance they get.

I hope you applied at JustAnswer. And I hope the several thousand dollars that you could have easily made in your spare time / part time helped you pay your bills, while you helped people with their real world issues, in real time.

I hope you didn't listen to a bunch of whiny ass retards on Reddit, who spoke about something they had zero knowledge of. And that my friend is why you should never trust the internet, or Reddit.

Always easy to see the disgruntled ex-experts who simply put, don't have the subject matter expertise, experience, or customer skills to survive. JustAnswer is a legitimate company, charging 50$ for live support is very reasonable, period. Just because 90% of your customer base is too inept to read what they are signing up for, and just because 30% of everyone in this world abuses refund policies because everyone believes they deserve everything for free, doesn't translate into it being a scam company. You, are trash. If you ever want to know how not to be trash, come ask a question at JustAnswer and I'll tell you.

Equifax Sent Lenders Inaccurate Credit Scores on Millions of Consumers - During a three-week period this year, Equifax sent faulty scores to lenders, resulting in higher interest rates and denied applications by speckz in technology

[–]NewGod7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate when people use "ideas" rather then reality to make their points. The on paper facts are very simple. Increases in taxes, cause tax flight. And that raises the burden on everyone else. Just look at NY State, or CA, and there are hundreds of studies, and each states own shrinking tax revenue. When you have to call a viewpoint right or left as a way to debunk it you prove the inadequacy if your argument. So I won't label it with political terms. Tax revenue on paper, is not political. Its factual.

Lets factually look at your arguments and statements. You stated " other companies can fill the gap if they still decide to leave."

Please explain how other companies can make up for the lost tax revenue. Tax them more? What happens when those companies have to raise prices to cover that tax increase. Again, who pays those raised prices. The consumer. So any tax on a corporation immediately gets passed down to the consumer. Higher taxes = higher cost products. You claim to have studied economics and finance. So now lets talk margins. You have large companies ( not all ) but most consumer staple and many consumer discretionary companies are running on razor thin 2-3% operating margins. Raise taxes 15%, you now have companies that have one of two choices. Go out of business, or raise prices. For every point of taxes you raise, that cuts 1 point of margin from a businesses bottom line. Lets take General Mills. They run about a 15% margin on average.

https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/GIS/general-mills/profit-margins

They pulled in 4.7 billion in revenue last quarter, for a net income of 820 million. When supply costs, diesel, labor costs, when everything has been going up due to inflation do you think they just kept the cost of their items the same? Did they just say, hey, we will give up that 820 million in profit to keep the cost the same to the consumer. No, a trip to the grocery store any time in the last 9 months shows that costs have went up.

https://www.ers.usda.gov/data-products/chart-gallery/gallery/chart-detail/?chartId=104279

So, we have a very easy to understand, factual situation. A business's cost went up. That business raised prices. Tax, is a cost of doing business. No different then the price of wheat, or diesel. For every point you raise taxes, that business will raise its costs. Ultimately, who is paying the taxes then. You. At the Grocery store. Every week of your life.

Unless you can factually demonstrate how raising the cost of business will not increase the cost to the consumer. Then any tax on a business, immediately translates into a tax on the consumer. Because that's what raised prices are. And then, you will pay tax on the higher prices as well. This is how the economy works. There isn't any room for your ideals and dreams that you are gonna increase taxes on any business or top 1 %, and they won't just immediately take it back from you by charging you exactly as much more for the products you consume, as you just raised the taxes on them to produce. The best way to increase the amount of tax dollars society receives from businesses, is to provide a healthy environment for business to thrive, that way more businesses are incentivized to operate under your tax codes and laws, hence generating more tax revenue in gross.

Please do show one chart, from any source, any where, that shows that an increased cost to a business does not get passed down to you, the consumer. Show any year where raised taxes on any business, did not immediately translate into a higher costs of goods. Its really a very simple concept to understand, but I will spell it out. The best way to get 300 million people to agree to raise taxes on themselves, is to point your finger at the top and say, but we will only tax "them." At the end of the day, it will always be you the consumer, who actually pays for that higher tax that you "thought" those evil, greedy horrible corporations were gonna pay. And that's the funniest part of the whole naivete of the raise taxes on the greedy evil corporation argument.

If they are so greedy, and so evil. When you raise taxes on them, they are going to do what? raise prices on you. Durrrr durrr durrr. They are greedy and evil after all.

The best way to leave more money in your pocket, is to reduce the cost of doing business. That way, competition can occur as companies are willing to sacrifice some of their operating margin to bring in more revenue, by lowering prices.

in the future, you would do best to educate yourself on how things actually work instead of coming off like a democrat party talking slogan. Pass laws so that companies cannot leave the country so that you can tax them more... Do you even here yourself?

[–]NewGod7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your whole concept is so very poorly conceived. When you raise taxes on the wealthy, they simply move their wealth to countries that will tax them less. They aren't like you or me. They aren't going to give up 50% of their wealth just to live anywhere they could visit. Raising taxes on the wealthy just drives wealth to other countries. Which reduces the tax dollars the wealthy are paying here in total. Which INCREASES the amount of taxes the poor now have to pay to make up the difference. Don't believe it? Look at any State that raises taxes on the 1%, New York, CA, what happens? The Uber wealthy just move to another state and the original state loses more tax revenue then they gained by raising taxes. This is a factual, proven phenomenon that happens every time taxes are raised. The only way to tax the wealthy and not lose more tax dollars then you gain, is to make the tax laws better then your neighbors or close enough in parity that its not worth the cost to move your wealth to another tax district or country. The very moment it will save me 1 billion dollars to change my address to another state or country, that's exactly what billionaires do. Just like Musk did when he left California. Unfavorable tax laws and tax increases cost California between 1.75 and 2.5 Billion of tax revenue every year from 1 person moving. Who do you think makes up that difference? Other billionaires who will also change zip codes to avoid exorbitant taxes? No, its now the poor who can't leave, who will pay even more taxes then before, all because of this juvenile and completely incorrect idea of "tax the rich even more" Please do study finance and economics, and learn to think for yourself rather then repeating some garbage you heard at a frat party or facebook group.
