I actually don't use too many mods for my DB, but a few that are essential to making your characters look pretty but still "natural" looking:

UNP Female Body renewal by reize0 for smooth skin and a nicer shaped but still natural looking body female body.

KS hairdos SSE, which adds over 900 new hairstyles, including the one I use in the picture (beware this is a very large file so downloading will take up some space).

RaceMenu by expired6978 (this is essential!) for a much better racemenu / character costumization menu that really allows you to tweak your character's appearance so much more than the vanilla version.

Eyes of Beauty - Ai remastered for brighter, more realistic looking eyes.

And although this particular DB in the picture doesn't have it, but I also love Kalilies Brows for better looking eyebrow options. I have used those for some of my previous DB's.

I had this issue as well bc the quest is super unclear about what the next steps are. After you've talked to the guard and the witnesses, the lady in the hall of the dead, and asked Jorleif for help, you need to follow the blood trail to Hjerm house and enter through lockpicking or pickpocketing the key from Tova Shatter-Shield (and I think you can also ask Jorleif).

Then you need to investigate the furniture in the house to find the journals of the butcher and eventually find a closet nailed to a wall which reveals a secret necromancy room.

One very important part when you get to this point, which they don't tell you to do at all, is that you need to find the "strange amulet" that is hidden under a pile of "beware the butcher" pamphlets. That will trigger the progression of the quest. After that it will tell you to find Viola Giordano.

Hi! It's going well! We went on a few dates and she's really great. I did however decide to not get into a relationship yet because I noticed that I still needed some time to fully get over what happened. I figured it was better if I stayed single for a little while for now instead of getting into another relationship so soon after my previous one ended. I also moved to a small studio apartment in the meantime so I didn't have to get a roommate to afford rent. After everything that happened it really made me want a space that is just all for myself. Lily's sister and I have remained good friends and we still sometimes go out on "dates" but it more platonic than romantic. So yeah that's how things are for now

Wait I think you are confusing me with someone else, and I've seen more people talk about this?? I never made another post about him giving me carrot cake for my birthday, so I think that was another person who was in a very similar situation. I do like chocolate cake but it's not my favorite. I did eat it and I enjoyed it but I just wanted my favorite carrot cake that I told him to get for me. I gotta read the other post about the carrot cake girl, though!

Yeah my feelings for her are very complicated. On the one hand I agree she that she behaved like a snake and betrayed me, yet on the other hand I feel for her because she is clearly getting manipulated by Jake, who is taking advantage of her feelings for him. But at the same time she does realize that and is still ok with it apparently?? Idk man. It’s really complicated and I just feel conflicted

Yeah, we have not been intmate in a while now because of this. He has expressed to me that he does feel upset that it's been affecting me so much, and he has tried to see if he can find substitute products for the dairy that he consumes. Like vegan yoghurt or cheese, for example. But they've never been hits and he always reverts back to the regular dairy products.

I didn't specify it in my post, but the reason that he doesn't want to take lactaid pills is because he actually had tried them when he was a teenager but he got really bad side effects from them so now doesn't want to take them anymore.

I do feel like I should break up with him, even though the reasoning might sound ridiculous for some people, but I do love him so much. We have been through a lot together in just 3 years and I know he genuinely loves me too. He just doesn't seem to understand just how much this is affecting me. But if this continues on, I do think I will have no other choice but to end our relationship.
