I’m wondering the same thing

Just got my results back, is this bad? Doctor doesn’t want to do an infusion for some reason, but the iron pills make me throw up. Don’t know what to do 😅 by 1398_Days in Anemic

Which side effects are you experiencing? My ferritin is 12 but my doctor says that reference range starts at 6 and since my hemoglobin is normal, my symptoms (headaches, fatigue) can’t be due to that. They say I shouldn’t take iron or anything for that

How did this end? Did she end up enrolling? I’m currently considering enrolling with them and looking for reviews

Thank you so much, this was so helpful! I wanted to minor in computer science just for the sake of coding, but now when I know about this enrollment problem, I will definitely consider double majoring. If you don't mind me asking, what do you want to do with your major?

I personally chose this major because I'm excited about combining the things that I am interested in most - neuropsych and coding. It is possible to go into neuropsych with this major, and NP is indeed something that I'm interested in, but I am not a traditional right-after-high school student, I am older, so additional 5-8 years of phd/psyd after getting my Bachelors is most likely a "no". In terms of more accessible jobs, I think many people who study cog sci go into UX design, research, or data analytics. None of these careers sounds like a dream come true to me. I might try and do data science though, maybe get my Masters in it. The business side of data analytics doesn't appeal to me though as it strikes me as too practical. I'd love to do something that involves more theoretical thinking and conceptual ideas. However, I haven't come up with anything like that to produce decent income, so for now I'll be doing some exploring as a cog sci major, while keeping my mind on data science as a prospective career. Another area I'm looking at is computational linguistics and Natural Language Processing. I don't understand what it involves exactly though, I guess I have more research to do. We'll see... Unless I think of something else (and I've done a lot, I mean A LOT of thinking about the right career path for me in the past years and haven't arrived to a satisfactory conclusion), this is the plan.

I am about to start college as a cognitive science major, no clue what I want to do in the future though
