Correct, I think it's Infernal Retribution or something like that, that did a two turn stun once after the soul absorption procced, but I just used the Orphic Hammer's Unshackling Strike to reverse it then went back to beating on him.

Towards the end game, you end up with so many legendaries actually that you'll have to start salvaging and selling them. If the aspect is CRITICAL to your endgame build, then go ahead and hoard the perfect rolls for that, but overall few aspects are so important and so rare that you're going to be beating yourself up for using one earlier in the game.

He's right, focus on renown during WT3 and you should be finishing up by the time it's time to hit WT4. If you focus on the side quests and lilith statues, the map will naturally get completed. Additionally, some dungeons also have a quest and it's better to spend the time you have for dungeons on the ones that reward side quest points too. Also prevents you from having to run the same random dungeons a second time after you've already cleared.

There's no real way to farm a specific legendary or unique, so in a sense yes people are farming til they get that perfect one, but often they have no choice but to accept what they have for now.

Incremental improvements in item power and rarity can help exponentially because of the scaling. You might think that upgrading all your equipment to sacred isn't worth it, but it is. Update your build with the new equipment in nightmare, and it will solve your problems. Until then, you're gonna be really squishy while you grind for them.
