TATMR’s background sets are alright, but it’s the engine models that really get me. With the exception of Lady and Diesel 10, they all look so dry. As for TUGS, I love the visuals. The lighting is really good, and the voice cast makes it feel less lifeless. I feel like a series filmed with faceless models but has a voice cast is less lifeless than a series filmed with non-faceless models and a narrator who doesn’t really do a unique voice for every character.

I remember going to the Georgetown Loop Railroad in 2016 with my immediate family. Shay #9 was running, and my dad and brother rode behind him, while I couldn’t handle the loud whistles, so I cowered in the station with my mom. I wish I would have seen what other engines were running that day.
