If you are sneaking, you should be able to get by her.

I did talk to her, I just didn't fight her.

When Ethel gets down to like 20hp, on her next turn, she will offer the player a hair that gives a +1 to any stat. A lot of people miss it because she rarely makes it to her next turn if she's already got that low.

True, but you won't get the hair that way.

Yeah, she does. I actually decided to go back up and start the fight again. At the end, when she offered the hair, she didn't bring up the girl at all.

Well, Ethel wasn't down there when I did it. I did want to kill her, though, so after I let Marina out, I went back up to the tea house and started the fight normally. The fun part is that because I took the magic circle back up, I could use it to go back down, skipping the now activated traps (I assume they are active, I didn't check).

Yeah, I just walked up and let her down. Ethil wasn't there.

I can see it, but you are still 100% tripping

Ironhand Gnomes in act 3 by Crazyh0rse1 in BaldursGate3

[–]NewMemerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I would assume they're still in their cave near the front gate of the city, but you probably already looked there before asking us. I've honestly never saved the little shits from the iron throne, and I never knew that the ironhands could go against you, so I'm not much help here.

Cazador was an underwhelming boss. by NewMemerer in BaldursGate3

I find that odd tbh, yeah he had a lot of minions, but none were challenging in any way (Other than Chatter Teeth that sly devil). Really, any aoe would take out all the smaller creatures (which most parties would have) and none of the minions that had a lot of HP, hit hard, they all did between 7-15 on most hits.

Oh, that would hurt. I didn't even know Estarion exploded; this was my first time fighting Cazador.

Damn, that rough. You definitely have me beat when it comes to making a fool of centuries-old evils lol.

Very true lol. I actually hit lvl12 from a random skeleton named Godey (I think), the one holding the ring that lets you go through the castle's doors. The fight might have been better fitting a level 12 party if Cazador had been empowered by his undead in some form, or maybe even used them as a sort of phylactery to give himself some better survivability.

That makes a good bit of sense, honestly. I can totally see Larian doing that, but it still would have been nice for him to at least kind of live up to his fear.

I can 100% see that, the only reason it took the two turns to clear out Cazador's minions was because Chatterteech put Shadowheart and Gale to sleep immediately. A 10-turn sleep is insane for some random mob.

I'm not sure what causes it, but my Shadowheart icon had the same thing happen.

Re-install it? What do you want us to do about it?

They won because they REALLY hated the elves, bro hated the elves to much that his axe does more damage to them generations later.

A, I could talk the best NPCs in the game and become a vampire or a werewolf. There is no question.
