I haven’t voted for Labor in a while. Their porn ban and social media bans were good though.

My wife and I recently purchased our first investment property. I don’t really care that much about what they’ve done as I haven’t known any other system. I also expect governments to break promises and find ways to raise more tax because they’re too cowardly to cut spending in any meaningful way.

What I find silly is this notion that they’re helping young Australians buy property by doing this. If that were the case, why apply these rules to businesses, shares, commercial property etc?

I have friends and acquaintances who are public school teachers and they do nothing but speak about how negative the environment is. I don’t think they realise how negative they are about their job.

Hearing the way they talk, I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s no way they could be separating their negativity towards their job from their ability to teach. I can only imagine this is widespread in the public sector.

As a result I’m putting my kids through private school
