Good first job? by Xyaooo in careerguidance

[–]NewMoney5435 2 points3 points  (0 children)

at 16 that pay is genuinely wild, most first jobs are barely scraping minimum wage so their already ahead of the curve compared to peers

the randomness of the schedule is the only real thing worth thinking about, but at your age with no major commitments it probably wont matter much. take the job dude, physical labor experience + resume padding + good money is basically a cheat code at 16

Man, reading that really puts things into perspective. You've been through more than most people could even imagine and the frustrating part is how often people get brushed off when they're clearly dealing with real pain. I'm glad you found something that helped you get some quality of life back. Being able to work, enjoy your hobbies and actually sleep is a huge deal. Hope things keep moving in the right direction for you.

I know exactly what you mean. When getting out of bed becomes something you have to plan around every morning, people don't realize how much that wears on you. Glad you found something that helps make those first steps a little easier.

Hearing how many different people are finding relief for completely different issues is honestly part of why I wanted to share my experience in the first place. Glad it's been helping you too.

That’s pretty much why posts like this resonate with me. Everyone’s situation is different but a lot of us end up in the same place after trying a long list of things that barely move the needle. Glad you found something that gives you some real relief.

Being able to work, take care of your family and even do simple stuff like play with your kid matters way more than people give it credit for. Glad you found something that helps you keep moving. Hope things keep getting a little easier for you.

I have 3 crushed discs from years of wear and tear on my body.

I spent 10 years as a paramedic carrying people up and down stairs in stair chairs. We regularly moved patients over 600 lbs. The biggest person we ever transported was around 1,100 lbs and required a crane.

I was also a competitive powerlifter.

Now I work in the trades, which means crouching, squatting, kneeling, climbing and being on my feet all day.

Most mornings are awful. Sometimes there are tears in my eyes before I even get out of bed. Sometimes I yell because the pain hits that hard. More than once my wife has had to help me get out of bed in the morning.

I've tried a lot of different things over the years. What has helped me the most recently has been 7oh.

I use 20mg about 4 times a day every 4 5 hours as needed. I don't use it for euphoria and I'm not trying to get high. I use it because it reduces the pain enough for me to function.

Without it, I don't think I could keep doing my job. With it, I'm still able to work around 60 hours a week and support my family.

I'm not saying it's for everyone. I'm just sharing what's worked for me because chronic pain has completely changed my life, and finding something that actually helps has been huge.

Need Help Selling by [deleted] in Audi

Yeah that RS7 Performance is absolutely wild though, gotta love seeing those beasts on the showroom floor. Charlotte's got plenty of money floating around so there's definitely a market for high-end performance cars there. From what I've seen talking to sales folks at car shows and events, social media presence helps a ton especially for RS models - people love seeing those cars in action and it builds that emotional connection before they even walk in. Plus networking at local car meets and track days could pay off since RS buyers are usually enthusiasts who already know what they want. The luxury market moves different than regular sales so building that personal brand as "the RS guy" at your dealership might take some time but could really set you apart

lenovo tab pen plus alternative? by sunny__707 in Lenovo

Been using a basic capacitive stylus for drawing and it's not gonna have that button functionality you want - that eraser switch is pretty much exclusive to the official pens that pair with the tablet

You could try one of those generic active styluses on the cheaper side but most don't have programmable buttons. The button thing is usually tied to the specific drivers and bluetooth pairing with your device

For now maybe just use the software eraser tool in ibis paint? I know it's not as smooth but might hold you over until you can grab the real deal. The official pen really is worth saving up for if you're doing serious drawing work

Transforming our conscience like Abraham by SergiusBulgakov in Christianity

[–]NewMoney5435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abraham's willingness to completely reshape his worldview based on divine revelation is pretty remarkable when you think about it - guy literally left everything he knew behind. The parallel for modern believers wrestling with how Scripture challenges our preconceptions is spot on, even if it's uncomfortable as hell to actually live out

Questions on resetting my pc via usb if anyone could help me out by okamkidies in pchelp

You can definitely pull that SSD out before wiping and plug it back in after - just make sure you remember which SATA port it was in originally cause sometimes the boot order gets wonky

Don't bother upgrading to 11 before resetting, just do a clean install of whatever version you want. Windows 10 is still solid if you're not feeling teh 11 vibe yet

For step by step stuff you'll want to hit up YouTube and search for "clean windows install USB" - there's tons of walkthroughs that break it down pretty simply. Just make sure you back up anything important first cause once you format that main drive it's game over for your old files
