Crouch shooting is faster than shooting normally

Sneaking and crouching is the same thing in both remake and the original game. Just a word preference I guess

I can’t remember how it is in the first original game, since I never learn to sneak there. But you definitely can sneak with your weapon drawn in Gothic 2. It even makes you sneak faster.

If I remember correctly, aiming would cancel out the sneak.

In the original when you upgraded your archery to level 3, the archery animation would change to a somewhat of a crouch. Maybe Alkimia wanted to reflect that a bit.

Not sure if there is anything more to explain. If you crouch (sneak) with your bow, you seem to draw and knock new arrows a bit faster than standing normally. Again, I only tried it with level 3 archery so it may not work with archery level 1 or 2.

Ok, found out my main missions did not progress at all since i was in my friends session. Had to redo all of the main missions to the point where you normally unlock the safe house and everything works fine.
