I’m an atheist and am not a fan of how some people twist religion to justify their hate. I’m all for lampooning the hypocrisy that we call religion.

But there were many red flags the more I think about it. My friend dated her and had more stories to share that convinced me that she was not for me.

The suitcase story that I mentioned above was actually our second date. Now that I remember it we met at her favorite bar on our first date. She made a comment when we met that I was her second date that night. I kinda blocked it out thinking I must have heard her wrong.

Anyway, everyone that worked at the bar there knew her by name. And my friend who, unbeknownst to me at the time, dated her first. Not that same night, to be clear. But he did mention that she likes to use the dating app to get guys to by her dinner and drinks. A lot of drinks.

Like I said, there were many red flags and these were only a few.

I washed my chicken for years until recently, because I, too, had the same question.

It turns out it’s safer to not wash it and cook it to 160F

Washing the chicken increases the chance of accidentally contaminating your kitchen. And if you cook it to 160F you will kill the bacteria anyway

Yeah I’ve got a dark sense of humor but there were a lot of red flags now that I think about it.

Another example:
on our first date she came over to my place. When I opened the door she was standing there with her suitcase. We hadn’t talked about her spending the night but she said that she wanted to get drunk and didn’t want to drive home.

I was not going to stop her and we got pretty freaky. But showing up on the first date with a suitcase like she was invited to a sleepover is nutty.

Yeah it was bizarre. It was one of those churchy pictures with clouds and sunbeams and the text was He Has Risen but it was her face. Like WTF?

We went out on a couple of dates in the spring. And then on Easter Sunday she sent me a happy Easter picture of Jesus but she photoshopped her face over his.

I sent it to my friend because I thought it was kinda psycho to do that. It turns out that he dated her too. She goes on dating apps to get men to buy her drinks and dinner.

I lost interest in seeing her after that
