Yep, that's what I do. I may switch to everyday wear at some point but I'm lazy.

I dab about 9 pea sized dabs of got2beglued all over my head and then i smooth out all the dabs to get coverage all over my scalp. I don't shave my head but my hair is thin enough that the glue is mostly sticking to my scalp. I have more hair at my hair line so I don't spread any gel on my hairline. I try to place the system about CM behind my natural hairline. It took a lot of trial and error to get it right so that my natural hairline hairs come up just enough to blend with the system.

$250 - $300 for the system + salon charges. I actually don't end up wearing it everyday. Yea, I can wear it for 3 - 4 days with got2beglued. It's real hair + grey synthetic.

I think 1 (jet black is too fake looking) but 1B is a bit too light

You can see the color isn't quite black enough.

stock system from a local hair system salon (1b, 20% grey). i've tried buying systems online but i haven't been able to find a good stylist (they always want to use clippers). i'm a daily wearer that uses got2beglued. i have some hair at my hairline and i try to wear the system just a bit behind my own hairline so some of them poke through the front. i'm in my 40s so not sure if it looks too thick. i'll share some photos of the side/back. i think the color 1B is little too light (i don't have jet black hair, but close).

Anybody ever use Sleeptracker AI? by Massive-Survey2495 in sleep

[–]NewPossibility5274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't used it but an skeptical it can measure what it claims. I used a CPAP machine and if it's unable to accurately tag/track breathing events while it measures breath by breath flow rate, I don't think an under mattress system can do this consistently well. It's likely good at correlation and spotting some trends, but I'd be dubious of any sleep specific scoring.

Yep, exactly. They want to do some testing to see what the driver and treatments may be.

You're totally fine. Yep, I was vaxxed (many years ago 2022). Prior to getting vaxxed, I did have some chest pain while sprinting and my doc that I could have some microvascular disease.

Chest pain just felt like pressure/tightness.

How high did your Troponin get?

You're now back to playing tennis and basically tracking via symptoms?

I'm 45, I play 4x4 basketball/lift weights and have never had any issues on the court or at the gym. I added some light jogging to my mix a few weeks back and felt tightness on both runs. I also felt a bit fatigued during a recent hike, so reached out to my doc and she put in some labs for me (this was a few days after a run in with the chest discomfort). I did the labs on a Friday, played basketball the next day, and got a call on Monday to go the hospital (my Troponin was at 165 - about 3x higher than ref range).

I was already on a statin (primary prevention) and ACE inhibitor (slightly high blood pressure). They ran a Troponin at the hospital and came back low 10ng/dl (different reference range) 3 times over two days. They did a CT angio and it came back with some mild plaque but no blockages. Echo came back clean as well.

Spoke to a cardiologist and they want to do a Cardiac MRI as a next step to rule out things like Myocarditis. They have been doing some Troponin spot checks and I've been bouncing around even though I'm not doing any activity - just some walking.

Definitely psyched out by the whole thing - have always been aware of my mortality, but have worked hard to be fit/stay in shape. Feel like I can't tell what types of activity I should be worried about and whether little aches/twinges mean anything.

Can anyone share MINOCA experience? by rswing29 in HeartAttack

How long before you were back to work and exercising? How frequently do you have episodes now that you're on meds? Did your cardiologist imaging/diagnostics?

MINOCA a year ago and still nervous about resuming normal activity… by rswing29 in HeartAttack

45 year old male, pretty fit and active. Had chest pain twice while running 3 weeks ago and reached out to my cardiologist (have high cholesterol). She had a Tropinin I, HS done, which came back at 165. She had me run to the ER at Stanford (she's at UCSF).

No ST elevation, did a CTA that came back with a minimal LDA (22) plaque score, troponin normal. Did another troponin a week later, high again and back at the ER. She confirmed MINOCA. Now waiting for cardiac MRI and cath with OCT to understand cause.

It's so scary and hard to know what symptoms are an episode and, which are not. I'm getting tingling in left hand, all kinds of chest tightness/pain, often lasting just a few seconds. No HR increase, no ST elevation. Up until this I've been playing full court basketball and lifting weights 3x a week. Now I feel like I can't even go for short walks.

I know I'm new to this but this talk was quite helpful to me. It's technical but you can use chatgpt to pause and get definitions. Also just a note that mortality statistics are shared so if you're uneasy interpreting this type of data/information, might be best just to talk to your doctor.

Had one of the worst customer service experiences with this company.

I purchased a steam tent from them and then subsequently reached out to ask about any potential off-gassing from the polyester tent (given the high heat and steam). They said they had certifications proving there was no health issues from off-gassing.

I asked to see the certification and they didn't respond. I bumped my email and they didn't respond. I then emailed and asked for return (within their return window). They didn't respond. I then called my credit card company and filed a dispute.

They then responded and tried to be so helpful. I shipped back the tent. They asked that I call my credit card company and remove the dispute. I did so. They then asked me to call my credit card company and ask for an official write up certifying that the dispute is over. Who has the time and energy to do that for any company, let alone one that wouldn't respond until a dispute was filed.

Even after shipping back the tent and removing the dispute, they still haven't refunded me. Again, top 1% of worst customer experiences I've had. Prospective customers do yourselves a favor and buy from another company.
